Because I can

She was curious the moment she met them…

Nick smirked as his lips played over her neck and the giggle escaped his wife's lips, his arms possessively wrapped around her waist.

Nine years ago the law, Vegas and God had made her his and he wasn't about to let go. Not when she giggled or when she sighed.

"I have to grab a shower" she attempts to untangle herself from his arms but with a renewed strength he tightened his grip on her and pressed even more kisses along her neck. It had taken him only three dates to find that spot behind her ear that drove her wild enough to giggle.

"Nicky" her voice drove him wild too… but they both knew that work mattered and turning up tired was not the best idea.

"Fine… fine" he muttered pressing one kiss to her neck before he allowed her to escape with one final giggle.

Watching her retreating form Nick sighed before there was a shuffling sound of a bright eyed six year old little girl.

"Hey baby" he greeted as he walked over to his daughter who was frowning "daddy you always make mommy giggle" the little girl declared as Nick lifted his daughter up and beamed at her.

"'course I do… I love your mommy" Nick stated as he moved his daughter into the family room while his daughter tugged at his t-shirt neck line.

"Why daddy" she questioned lifting her brown eyes up to him while Nick beamed, she had always been curious, even from the moment she was born.

This little bundle that had lightened up his life like her mother, not even three minutes old and she peered up at him with a curious frown before she snuggled into her mother's embrace.

Her first words were curious, questioning him as her father…. Daddy? She was bright and she made his proud heart swell even more.

"Well baby… I make mommy giggle because I can" Nick told her before he heard a chuckle from the door way. He spotted his wife watching her family with delight, her arms folded bestowing upon her husband and daughter her famous gapped tooth smile.

"Just because I can baby" Nick stated knowing that he would never give up that right for as long as he lived.

The End

Have no Idea as to where this came from within my mind but huh here it is... 3 am rambling fluffness.
