Summery: in Boromir's last moments he reflects on a promise he made to his brother before the quest, giving him the strength to keep fighting. (Poem)
Disclaimer: Do I look like Tolkien to you? No, therefore I can't own it, but a girl can dream, right?
A/N: I have really only written a few other pome's before, I probably am not very good at them, but your review would be appreciated all the same. (No flame's please.)
A/N2: Please note that I really have know idea if a promise as the one described in the poem actually took place. (it most likely did not)
Movie Based
Time Frame : During the scene at the end of FOTR when Boromir is hit by the second arrow.
Away
I finally get my wish,
I get to go away, but something
Is holding me back making
Me think I should stay
I don't know what to do, I never do
Any more, but why cant I leave,
What's holding me back from the
Door.
Not letting me cross the threshold
In to the world, that I wish
I could be. Your voice
Holds me there, captivated
In a memory that seems
So long ago.
My heart yearns to
Stay yet my mind
Begs to go.
I am torn between too
Which way….
Which way…..
Do I go…..?
Well I hope you enjoyed, Please review………….
