LeBeau and Newkirk sat in the train. LeBeau's eyelids started drooping. He leaned on Newkirk's shoulder. The corporal in blue was irritated, but didn't move. LeBeau had an idea. He maneuvered himself into position, and ended up at his best friend's legs. Then, smirking at Newkirk, he lowered himself and used Newkirk's legs as a pillow.
LeBeau smiled up at him, pleadingly. Newkirk stared at the small frog then shrugged it off with an exhausted look. Satisfied, LeBeau closed his eyes to sleep, traces of a grin still tugging the corners of his mouth. Newkirk looked at him, then after while smirked. His expression changed tenderly, and he patted LeBeau's shoulder. Then, closing his eyes, Newkirk joined his brother in slumber with the satisfaction of no one having seen his small moment of weakness.
