It was time for Harry and Ron to board the Hogwarts Express, for what they feared could potentially be the last time.

They chose an isolated compartment in the far back; they didn't relish the thought of talking to other people.

However as they made their way there they soon realized that wasn't going to be a problem; apart from a few students the train was completely deserted.

They took their seats and waited for Hermione and Ginny, who were taking their time saying goodbye.

Harry watched Ron stare out the window; his orange hair caught the breeze from the open window and was flowing gently.

Harry knew Ron was worried, he was too. If it wasn't for Hermione and Ginny, Ron and Harry wouldn't have spoken a word to each other all summer.

However as Harry continued to stare at Ron he was overcome with even more sadness.

He didn't want Ron to worry too. He didn't want to hurt him. All he wanted was to put his arms around him and hold him close. To tell him that everything was going to be alright. However Harry wasn't quiet sure that it was.

Harry inched his way closer to Ron. He sensed Ron look in his direction, but proceeded to put his arm around him.

Just then the compartment door flung open, and Hermione and Ginny stood awestricken in the doorway.
