Jiang Wei had felt joy before, he'd felt excitement, euphoria, pure bliss. He'd felt them, and none of them had ever driven him to kiss anyone. It wasn't a natural reaction, of that he was sure; there must have been something different-in the air, or his drink.

Zhong Hui had just finished explaining their latest plan of attack, (stating before they even got started that there was to be no input from him, the plan was perfect, it needed no editing) Jiang Wei agreed with most of it, but it needed some tweaking here and there. Even with the flaws the plan had made him antsy, he didn't like to admit his feelings towards Liu Shan's advisors (who left him feeling more defeated than his following losses in battle) but hopefully they'd find themselves regretting their decision to ignore him soon after its execution.

Maybe it wasn't excitement that caused it, but perhaps relief, finally he was getting somewhere. Finally, those that had passed on could be proud of him. It was all because of the man who stood in front of him, with perfect hair, and a smirk that everyone would love to see slapped off of him. He owed him a lot for taking him along with his plan.

It was only seconds after whatever emotion it was set in, that Jiang Wei found himself quite confused, and speechless. His hand has voluntarily but unconsciously wrapped itself around Shiji's neck, self-aware enough not to touch his hair, before it pulled him close enough to kiss. It was short, sweet and to the point and then they were left staring at one another in the bit of confusion. Shiji was the first to recover, putting his smirk, confidently, back in place.

"I told you it was perfect."
