"Let me out!" Lincoln continuously shouts and keeps hitting the white walls of the rescue pod. He tries to use his powers but nothing happens, so he goes back to pounding on the walls.

After about ten minutes of constant screaming, Daisy has had enough and goes to him.

"Let me out of here, you have no right to keep me," Lincoln yells at her.

"Actually, we do," she states calmly. "You have become a danger to yourself, and we protect Inhumans from the outside world and, when necessary, from themselves."

"I don't need protection, I just need for you to leave me alone! Why can't you understand that?"

"I do, but this isn't you. You're acting like you have some kind of death wish and I can't just ignore that. So, calm down! The sooner you do that, the quicker you can get out of here."

Lincoln walks away from the window and paces in the little space. Daisy leaves.

Almost as soon as she exits the area, he has worked himself up and again starts pounding on the walls.

Daisy pauses in the hall and sighs as she hears Lincoln screaming again. She wishes she knew how to help him. For now, this is the best she can do.

Back in the pod, Lincoln has gotten to the point of exhaustion. His voice is hoarse, but he still attempts to kick through the door, the walls ... any part of this tiny room that he might be able to break free.

The prevailing thought he can't shake is "Please just let me go ... let me disappear."

Daisy enters Coulson's office. "Where's Andrew?"

"Well hello to you too, Sk ... Daisy."

"Sorry, Phil."

"Andrew will be here next week. How'd the mission go?"

"He's alive," Daisy responds.

Coulson stands and walks around his desk to her.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know. We JUST got to him in time. And even then, had to force him into the pod. It was a close call."

"I'll see if Andrew can get here sooner."

"Thank you."

After changing and getting something to eat, Daisy went to check on Lincoln. She took it as a good sign when everything was quiet. Then she got scared when it seemed too quiet.

Daisy ran into the holding area and raced to the window of the rescue pod. Lincoln was slumped against the door. She looked closer and could see the slow rise and fall of his chest. "Good, he's asleep." She then noticed his bloodied knuckles.
