A/N:
Hey guys, this is my first Bori story! Hope you like it! :)
Beck polished off the last of his cherry beignet and threw the wrapper in the trash before walking over to where his girlfriend sat on a bench. The young couple was in Paris for the first time, celebrating Tori's birthday. Tori hated being fussed over so much, but since she was with Beck, it wasn't too bad.
"So, where do we go next?" Beck asked as he pulled out a map.
Tori adjusted the digital camera that was around her neck. "Well we can't see all of France in one day. Do you want to go back to the hotel?"
Beck shrugged. "It's up to you, Tor. It's your birthday."
Tori rolled her eyes. "I know, I know. You don't have to keep reminding me every five seconds."
Beck laughed. "You're cute when you're mad."
Tori smiled a bit. "I know. How about we take a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower?"
Beck nodded. "Sure, let's go."
They walked hand in hand down the dirt path, stopping to take pictures of different things like statues or fountains along the way.
"Okay, let's stop here." Beck said. Tori stopped walking and saw that they were about 100 feet away from the tower itself, which was a good spot for a picture.
"I'll take one of you and then you take one of me, okay?" Tori said as she removed the camera from around her neck and started to adjust the settings.
Beck fiddled with his fingers a bit nervously. "Um, why don't we ask someone to take the picture for us?"
Tori looked at him quizzically. "Why? I thought you wanted to do it separately."
"No, i-it's not that I-it's just that I uh, thought it'd be better if we both took a picture." Beck gave a quick smile to cover up his nervousness.
Tori bit her lip, thinking for a bit before shrugging. "Okay, whatever. But you sure are acting weird."
Tori's eyes scanned over the throngs of people as she searched for someone to take the picture, so long as they weren't busy. She saw a tall, blond haired man around her age standing around and snapping photos.
"How about we ask him?" The brunette said, pointing to the man.
Beck frowned. "Why does he have to be good-looking?"
Tori just laughed and shook her head before walking over to the man. "Excuse me sir, could you take our picture for us?"
The man nodded wordlessly and followed Tori back to where Beck stood.
"C'mon, let's hurry up and get a good pic," Tori said, putting her arms around Beck's waist and smiling a bit.
Beck bit his lip. "Tori, wait."
Tori sighed. "What? I wanna go back to the hotel already—"
"Can you listen to me first?"
Tori rolled her eyes, signaling him to go ahead.
After telling the man to wait, Beck spoke in a nervous tone. "I love you."
Tori blinked, a light chuckle escaping her lips. "I love you too."
"Then, do you think that maybe…" Beck paused, breaking away from Tori's grip to get down on one knee. "You'd mind marrying me?"
Tori's mouth dropped open as Beck pulled the small box from her pocket and opened it for her to see.
"Do you like it?" Beck asked, smiling a bit. "I bought it a few weeks ago."
Tori covered her mouth with her hand. Normally she hated crying, but the tears were already flowing freely. "You're such a devil, Beck."
Beck laughed. "I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, Tori Vega. I love you. Will you marry me?"
Wordlessly, Tori nodded.
Beck had tears in his own eyes as he slipped the ring on Tori's finger. The small crowd around them began to clap for the new couple, and they cheered loudly when their love was immediately sealed with a passionate kiss.
