Disclaimer: I don't own Monster Allergy
Another story I wrote when I was bored. Sorry if the park, where ever the hell it is, isn't near the river, I wasn't really thinking when I wrote this.
The two smirked at each other and looked across the park at another pair of children about the same age walking at the edge of the river.
The boy had his hands shoved deep into his pockets and his gaze seemed to be everywhere except for on the girl shouting next to him. She had her arms crossed and looked pissed, to say the least.
"Hey, when-"
"Shush!" The boy kept his eyes locked on the pair, straining to hear what they were talking about.
The two 'spies' quietly moved along the row of hedges, keeping just within earshot.
"Next time take me with you! Do you know what torture it is to stay at home?" The girl was yelling directly into the boy's ear, though he gave off no reaction. He was obviously used to it.
"It's dangerous. Do you want to get yourself killed?" He spared her a glance, though he settled on the sky a moment later.
"Ha! Without me, you'd die too!"
"Now!" The command was just soft enough so that the bickering duo couldn't hear.
Two figures jumped out of the hedges and sprang at their targets.
Within moments, Teddy and Lay were swimming toward the edge of the river. On the bank, Zick and Elena were smirking at the soaked teens.
"They should know better than to try and sneak up on us, right Zick?" The blue-gray haired boy nodded, his smirk widening.
"Yep. That trick's old now anyways. We were expecting it."
