Hello-oo… you probably forgot I promised to started a Tangled AU for PJO. I know it's very short but I wanted to show you guys who wanted me to do this that I really am doing this series. So anyway, here's a little prologue.

Prologue

"Excuse me, son. Is the castle north from here?" An old, tired looking woman asked a little boy who was playing with a big black shaggy dog. She only stopped for a breath, her age quickly catching up with her. Then she realized the dirt road leading to town seemed to go on forever. She needed to know if she was going the right way.

"Uh…" The boy looked up at her with huge green eyes. "Wow, you're old…"

"Excuse me?!" The woman crossed her arms and frowned. All the thoughts she had of a cute little boy in overgrown raggedy clothes, messy jet black hair, and adorable smile seemed to be thrown out of the window now. She hated being called old.

Before the boy could say anything more, a man jogged up to the scene. He looked exactly like the boy with jet black hair, tan skin, and a rare shade of sea green eyes. Despite the stranger before his son, the man hugged his son cheerfully and patted the dog on its head. The woman stood there patiently, waiting for the man to question her.

"Good evening," He nodded towards the woman. "Might I ask what you were asking Percy about?" He lifted the boy up so his son was perfectly nestled into the man's side.

"My name is Gaea." She curtseyed. "I've been traveling for a long time on foot. I really need to visit the kingdom not far from here."

"On foot?" The man echoed. "That seems a lot for a woman like you, er… no offense."

Gaea managed her best smile "Oh no, it's not for much longer. I'm pretty capable of reaching the kingdom on my own but I need to know if I'm headed in the right direction."

"Yes, you are traveling in the right direction. I assume you're attending Princess Annabeth's first birthday ceremony."

"Why yes I am." Gaea nodded. "I just love royalty and I cannot miss the princess's birthday. I know it sounds silly but Queen Athena is an inspiring woman and I couldn't bear not to just look at her daughter for just once."

The man smiled, pleased with the answer "There is no need to drain yourself. Why not come in, and enjoy a cup of tea? My wife makes very good tea."

"What about blue pancakes?" His son, Percy asked in his arms.

Gaea laughed "I'm sorry, but my family is waiting. I will be fine."

"What kind of family makes their grandmother walk miles to see them?" The man frowned, skeptical of answer.

"I must leave now." Gaea needed to leave this conversation. Not only did the buffoon called her old as well but her story was not adding up. The only safe way was to end it then and there. Like those two idiots were worth her time anyways. The man was obviously poor beyond all belief with both of them dressed in rags. Nevertheless, the state of their house was far from revolting with the rotting wood and the fence surrounding it was barely holding together.

Gaea on the other hand, was in another class. She managed to obtain quite a lot of wealth of the years since she was a very freelance agent. But she was on a deadline now and she had no time to waste it talking to simpletons. She needed to see Princess Annabeth. Because let's just say, it wasn't so she could marvel at the new princess.
