"Dear diary: Who shall I fall for next just because of a whim? Who next shall steal my heart? The boy who's words will melt my frozen heart, and fog my already blurry thoughts. Could it be Robert? Oh no, he would not do. Maybe Thomas? Alas I do not see it happening... For at this time my heart has melted to, and my thoughts have been fogged by, the one and only Nathaniel Archibald," Jenny Humphrey wrote in her newly bought dairy. After her Halloween fiasco with her dear friend Eric she needed to vent her thoughts and feelings to someone, something, "Yes... Still I'm taken by his beauty and his charm. Even with all the wonder that is him, he brings out the worst in all the girls. Though I never meant to betray Vanessa, I know I did, but with Nate I never thought twice about any one else. It had just been Nate Archibald and I"
"Last night I ran into him at Chuck's Halloween party slash club opening. Eric and I were sitting alone (my minions were kind of on their "Take Down Jonathan" mission...) when suddenly who do you think appears? You called it dairy, Nate. He came over and talked to us, ok so he kind of talked to Eric, not me. Had one week of pure love and lust really ruined our friendship? Yes, it did. I'll stop ranting on about my stupid, pointless, life wasting, time consuming, wish of ever being with Nathaniel Archibald again. Sorry but I can't help to say his full name... It's just so beautiful." Slowly Jenny wrote the last words down, trying not to let a tear drop fall. No one understood that she really was just pretending to be evil, that it really was just a mask, to bad what she had to pretend to be had become more important then who she was.
After making a huge pile of her old clothes from the year before, mainly the ones she wore that special week, she starred at them. As she starred at them she wonder if all this was worth it. Blair asked her once if it was, she said yes, later to say no, then just toke the crown anyways. That's when Jenny decided she needed to talk, then remembering she just scarred away the one person she could truly really trust. That's why she went out and got the dairy, to finally have something that she could never scare away and that could keep all her secrets without judging her. Hello diary.
A/N: So I know Jenny doesn't actually write in her diary like that (Or does she? Who are we to judge :P) but I wrote this a while ago when I was bored and I felt like posting it. Might be one-shot unless I'm convinced other wise. Plus I'm not really sure where I'd go with it... Hmm... Thoughts? Love it or hate it, it's ok.
