I don't own the Teen Titans. They belong to D.C. comics.

The morning started normal as always.

"Good morning everyone!" Raven sang as she entered the room. The beautiful Azarathian sat down at the table and began stuffing food into her mouth. Starfire sat across from her, sipping tea. Starfire's orange cloak was the same color as her skin.

As she watched Raven eat, Starfire chanted under her breath, "Tamaran, Sulitrude, Morthax." Immediately, Raven's food vanished. "Huh?" Raven stared at her plate, sure that there had been bacon and eggs still on her plate.

Starfire stood with her tea and flew out the door. "What's her problem?" the green changeling, Robin, asked from the couch. "Don't know." Bird Boy, the team leader, replied. "But I think it best we not cross her path."

Later that day, the team was training in one of the two training rooms. Raven and Starfire were sparring in hand-to-hand combat. Starfire's tall, lean, agile form helped her dodge most of Raven's blows. Raven, being stronger, attacked with many punches and kicks.

Starfire got in two punches and a small series of kicks before Raven called time-out from exhaustion. Bird Boy had been watching them and moved forward to give Raven a few pointers on energy preservation.

As the conversation got more flirtatious, Starfire moved off to the side. "Hey Starfire," Starfire glanced down at robin. "Hi…" she replied, her tone of voice urging him on. "I was wondering if maybe later you might want to, uh, go to a movie later." Starfire stared down at him and sighed. "No, thanks anyway," she began to float away. "I'm sorry."

When training was over, Robin and Cyborg jumped onto the video game system while Raven and Bird Boy sat at the table and talked.

Starfire stood in the doorway for a moment, then wrapped herself in dark green energy and teleported to the roof. There, she sat to meditate. It wasn't that she didn't love Robin; it's just that she didn't want to put him in danger.

Suddenly, Starfire heard soft footsteps behind her and probed the area. Sensing that it was Raven, she continued to meditate. "Tamaran, Sulitrude, Morthax. Tamaran…"

"Starfire?"

Starfire sighed and stepped out of her meditation pose. Turning to face the shorter girl, Starfire asked, "can I help you?"

"M-may I meditate with you?" seeing the shy look on raven's face, Starfire nodded. They sat back down and began meditating. "Tamaran, Sulitrude, Morthax…"

when Starfire finally stepped from the meditation pose, raven gave her a firm hug and said, "thank you Starfire." Starfire just barely managed to gasp, "raven… I can't… breathe."

Raven swiftly let go and Starfire accompanied her inside. Starfire went to her room, closed the door, and thought, I guess that was fun. I might have to do it again sometime.
