Blue Seeker My Ally

It wasn't like Bumblebee actually considered the seeker an ally . It was doubtful that he ever truly would be able to. Not after such a longstanding war and undoubtedly with Thundercracker having several Autobot murders on his conscience.

Nevertheless he knew that he liked Thundercracker better than his trine-mates Skywarp and Starscream. Or well… former trine-mates to be exact. Thundercrackers 'betrayal' in New Yor had succeeded in him being dubbed as a traitor to the Decepticon cause – and his actions towards his former comrades during the 'Rodimus'-incident had without a doubt only insured his former allies view of him.

Bumblebee took a moment to study the brooding seeker in silence. One would think after several millennia of him fighting alongside such figures as Skywarp and Starscream, there would've been a certain 'adaption' on Thundercrackers behalf. Primus knew Skywarp was a murderous, if not too bright, prankster that took pleasure in killing and plundering friend or foe alike. Whereas not to mention the cowardly Starscream, whose ambition was the only thing to surpass his pride as the Air commander of the Decepticons. Stupid arrogant slaghead!

Thundercracker on the other hand, had always seemed to have a certain…well, perhaps not exactly conscience, but during an overheard conversation between Prime and Prowl, Bumblebee had heard Optimus mention the fact that Thundercracker didn't seem to be entirely dedicated to the Decepticon cause.

Oh, how right they had been. Perhaps they were even gloating over the fact now…

He was suddenly distracted by a beam of sunlight that flickered through the window and reflected on the jet's wings. The lights and the shadows in the hanger danced around the seeker, making the newly elected Autobot leader (but for how long?) aware of the other's physical appearance.

As the rest of his trine, Thundercracker too would be considered beautiful. He didn't flaunt it the way Starscream did, though, or made other bots aware of his presence like Skywarp did. Instead the blue Seeker had a sort of melancholy beauty. One of which Bumblebee could appreciate in solitude here in the hanger.

"What do you want, Autobot?"

The hoarse inquiry startled Bumblebee out of his thoughts. This was not the time for such things, and he covered his pondering demeanor by starting to discuss change in the Cybertronian race, and after that to explain the situation in North Korea and the idea of Thundercracker giving aerial support…

Perhaps he couldn't ever consider Thundercracker a true ally, but Bumblebee would do his damn best to try.

A/N: Come on. Am I really the only one who are picking up on the Bumblebee/Thundercracker subtext?
