Authors Note: I have decided to redo my old nuzlocke story, quite possibly at the worst possible time what with school and work, but anyhow, here is a teaser for the first chapter, I have no idea how soon I will get chapters out or anything, but I just wanted to post something before winter break ends for me. P.S. this story is going to be based on a different nuzlocke file than my last story.
Torazn Quests
Chapter 1
"We finally made it, Lydia! Hello Viridian city!" the voice of a 16 year old male shouted, with his hand raised in victory to the midday sun that was providing meek warmth in the chilly winter air that was encroaching over the Kanto region. It was mid winter, just after the new year festival and the city was living up to its name of The Eternally Green Paradise. Vibrant evergreens grew on all sides of the city except in the west, which was dominated by mountains, with a singly valley path leading through it, the same path our heros just ventured out from.
"Yea well we would'a made it sooner if you hadn't tried to take that Teddiursas honey stash" another voice said, coming not from a person but a small bipedal lizard with flames on the tip of its tail. "But...uh, can you put me back inside my pokeball now Torazn….please." she continued in a meek tone of voice.
The human looked over at the pokemon quizzically, not used to hearing that tone of voice or the word of politeness from the usually sassy fire lizard. Then he looked around and noticed all the people who continued to stare at him after his earlier outburst. Many were giving Lydia an odd look and whispering in small groups together, as if they were trying discern something. He tilted his head, trying to get a better read on what they were saying but only caught bits of "That a Charmander?...Orange not yellow….do you think?...bad luck."
"oh, right." The boy identified as Torazn said as if he just remembered something important. "Sorry I kind of forgot about that." He said with a sheepish grin, one hand rubbing the back of his head and the other returning the pokemon to its pokeball.
The pokemon, a charmander if the crowd was to be believed, was dissolved into read light and drawn into the round device, but not before Torazn heard Lydia say with a small smile "yea, you always forget about things you don't care about."and with that Torazn was off to the pokemon center for a little rest, relaxation and a long shower.
