This is a crack concept, but it is taken seriously in this fic. :)

"It's over here, hurry up! My teacher could discover us missing any minute now!"

Fury and Mahnya tripped their way through the snow to where Levin was frantically waving his arms and pointing.

"Prince Levin, are you sure this is a good idea?" Mahnya asked. "You could have taken us here after your lessons. Right, Fury?"

"Ah, right, of course, sister," Fury stammered, torn between her loyalty to Mahnya and affection for the prince. Levin grinned as the girls finally caught up to him.

"Here it is, guys. My-no, our secret hiding place."

It was an average-sized fortress surrounded by evergreens and rocks, but to the children it was practically a castle.

"I didn't even know there was a fortress here," Mahnya said breathlessly. "And we can really use it?"

"No one does. It's been abandoned for years now." Levin pulled them inside. "And it's ours. Heh, we can stay here forever if we want! Just me and my girls!"

"I love that idea," Fury sighed, snuggling into his embrace. Mahnya, against her better judgement, nodded an agreement.

Of course, they eventually got cold, tired and hungry and had no choice but to go back to the palace. But they went there every chance they got from then on until they unceremoniously decided they were too old for such games.

"Where're you taking me anyway?" Sylvia asked, pulling her cloak tighter around herself. "Won't the others get worried?"

"Sir Sigurd insisted everyone take the day off. The enemies haven't shown any signs of advancing and there's no more bandits," Levin said.

"I wonder if it's even still there," Fury sighed. "It's been years, Prince Levin. We might even be too big for it now...me especially." She glanced down towards the emerging swell of her stomach. Levin smiled and gave her an affectionate squeeze.

"Would you quit worrying about that? You'll fit just fine." He drew Sylvia close to him as well, and she blushed. "And so will you."

What was he talking about? But she didn't have time to ask, before she knew it he was running towards a huge snow-covered lump and waving them over.

"Remember, Fury? When I said I wanted to marry you and your sister and we'd live here forever?" Levin asked as they made their way inside. It was a little more snug now, but a comfortable fit nonetheless.

"Like it was yesterday," Fury laughed, then gestured to Sylvia. "It was a promise Levin and I always wanted to keep, but then..."

"But then she died," Sylvia finished. "I know I said it a lot but I'm still really sorry she's gone."

"So are we," Levin said. "Which is why we wanted you to come with us. We're not looking to replace Mahnya, but Fury and I are both really fond of you...in fact, we love you, Sylvia."

"You've been such a good friend and supporter, and we've been talking about it," Fury said. "Will you carry Prince Levin's child and become our wife?"

After the momentary shock and silent questioning of their sanity wore off, Sylvia smiled.

"I'd be honored!" she squealed, and they embraced her.
