Ludwig, slightly drunk, watched as the bodies on the dance floor jumped and swayed. The place was packed and it smelled of champagne, new clothes and expensive perfume. He spotted his best friend as he scanned the crowd. Their eyes met. Ludwig raised his glass and smiled. Feliciano blew him a kiss in return. The Italian then turned away and so the German lowered his glass and put his head in his hands and contemplated whether he should leave or not. He decided against it since his friends would not hesitate to kill him. Gilbert would. The scene in front of him was slightly…apocalyptic. All the grinding and kissing and things he doesn't want to think about…then again, it could be just him being, well, him. He has never been into that, dancing that is. His eyes wandered back to the Italian, his curl bouncing and his eyes wide and dizzy with happiness. He had insisted that Ludwig would dance with him. At first, the German had outright refused. No, he wouldn't dance. He couldn't even if he tried, but 15 minutes later he found himself on the dance floor. Dancing. Or attempting to. With that thought he downed the last bit of champagne in his glass and got it refilled.
The place was beautiful! Ludwig thought somewhat bitterly. He would have loved to co- his thoughts were interrupted by someone calling his name. "Luddy!". Only one person called him that. Feliciano. Suddenly, he felt as if the place was closing up on him and he had trouble breathing. Feliciano. "I need to go home" he murmured to nobody in particular as he got up abruptly knocking down his chair. Feliciano. He must leave. Now.
Two guys tucked in a cozy corner watched as Ludwig made his way to his beat up old Volkswagen, kicking a couple of chairs on his way out. Gilbert and Antonio exchanged a knowing look.
"I can't believe Feliciano asked my brother to be his best man! No, scratch that. I can't believe my stupid brother agreed!" Said the albino.
"Oh come on. We both know that Ludwig has never turned Feli down, you don't exactly expect him to start now, do you?" said the Spaniard as Ludwig's car pulled out of the parking and sped down the road.
