Saitama sighed as he recalled the exhilaration he felt during his quarrel with Lord Boros. He believed that his strength had finally been matched,he was not disappointed. The alien had put up quite a fight; he truly had not expected it. The utter discouragement he had experienced when numerous enemies had perished with a single punch had momentarily been overcome. He flipped a page of his manga, the scent of spicy curry filling the room as the demon cyborg cooked up their dinner. Saitama rolled on his side to look towards the kitchen, catching a glimpse of blonde hair and metal parts. His face remained expressionless as he continued to stare. His disciple was so obedient and brave. He was the perfect hero. The demon cyborg literally fought until he could no longer withstand another blow, until he was nearly destroyed.

Even though Genos had received copious amounts of damage, the doctor would always repair him and he would always return to his master's side. Aside from having saved him from definite annihilation, Saitama didn't really mind having him around. He had grown accustomed to the occasional clicking and hissing noises that the cyborg's body would produce. The few days that Genos would be at 's laboratory would feel quite uneventful. The thing he hated the most about Genos's absence was that he truly felt alone. He had lived by himself for such a long time and had slowly become used to it until his disciple practically forced himself into his life.

Genos poured the spicy curry into two separate bowls and proceeded to remove his pink apron. "Sensei-" Saitama rose from his usual spot on the floor as he interrupted the cyborg. "Genos, you didn't have to-thanks I guess." Genos smiled, kneeling before the low table in front of the other man. "No, thank you for taking me under your wing. I need to become stronger...Sensei..." Saitama chewed loudly as Genos spoke, looking straight at him. "Ah, O.K", he muttered mid-mastication. There was silence between the two as they finished their dinner. Genos collected their soiled plates and made his way to the kitchen sink. His sensors failed to pick up movement as he concentrated on the dishes, a shining head emerged from behind his shoulder. "Ah, you missed a spot."

The demon cyborg gasped, the soapy plate slipping out of his metallic grasp. Before Genos could even turn to witness the aftermath of his mistake, Saitama had already caught the falling dish and placed it in the sink. "Oi, sorry. I didn't mean to surprise you." A long sigh escaped the mechanical man's lips as he turned to face his bald mentor. "You are so fast sensei, my sensors have difficulties detecting you sometimes. I want to be as quick as you." Saitama scratched his temple at the statement, "Never take your eyes off your opponent, Genos-kun."

The older man walked back into his living room, undressing to change into his usual sleeping attire. "Hmm..?" The sound of rapid writing caught his attention as he turned around. Genos mumbled to himself, producing an entire five pages of notes, repeating the advice that his sensei had mentioned before. He found himself looking up, examining the perfect musculature that was Saitama's body. Since the day he witnessed his effortless strength, he had wondered how he could even contain it in such a small frame. He ran his metallic fingers through the length of his blonde hair as his eyes remained locked on his sensei. "Genos...you okay?"
