My first Garth Nix story. I own no one. I'm sorry, I haven't read Sabriel yet. I think I killed the librarian with my screaming fit (not really, just in my head) and then, and then, and then, sorry. I'm on coffee. Either way. Some one summarize Sabriel for me before I die. DIE. DIE I TELL YOU!!! Sorry. Lirael returns to the home she never belonged to…

Lirael looked at the golden palm that seemed to grow out of her wrist. It was so beautiful, so amazing, Sam's abilities had given her an arm back. But something was missing. Some empty gap, well, more like burden. It gave her nightmares and she couldn't sleep, but the most infuriating this was, she didn't know what it was.

She now had a family, three nephews, a brother-in-law, a sister… she couldn't think what more she needed, until it occurred to her that it wasn't a need, but a memory plaguing her… Clayr's Glaciers… she always fell of them in her dreams. She then realised that she needed to get even with her memories. She needed to show that she was worth something. She still remembered all the looks she got from all those sighted ones, those snotty little children who thought themselves superior. And she hadn't cared. She had agreed. But now, she knew. She had to come to terms with her past…

So with permission and encouragement, Lirael set off to Clayr's Glacier with Sabriel. It was good training. In their red and gold paperwing, they made a magnificent sight on the nearing horizon…

Well? Ok idea? I hope so. REVIEW!!!
