~Intro~
When I woke up this morning it was quiet, but that was normal now. I guess I would just have to get use to it. It has been a year now since Aang defeated the fire lord and Zuko took control of the fire nation, but after all that happened we all just split. Sokka went with our dad to fend off the rest of the fire lord Ozai's supporters, Toph had gotten a letter from a healer saying they could give her eye sight, but they lived deep in the mountains. Aang was a different story; he went off in search for any air nomads left in the world. So now it was just me and Zuko but he was busy with whatever was going on around the fire nation.
I found myself wondering around on the beach, I was visiting Ember Island; there really wasn't any reason for me to be there it just seemed to quiet. I wondered to the other side of the Island and practiced my water bending. Even if the war was over and the world was saved I still needed to keep practicing. On day's like this I go through all the things that's happened to me since my journey began when I met Aang but it always ended up with the same question... Would our group ever come back together?Or stay scattered all over the globe?
My concentration broke when I heard something moving behind me. I turned my head slightly and saw one of Zuko's messengers. He cleared his voice, unrolled a scroll in front of him, and began to read aloud. "Katara of the water tribe, you are hear by summoned for a meeting with Fire Lord Zuko. In hopes with your cooperation, please accept these gifts." The man rolled the scroll back up,slipped it back into his bag, and pulled out a golden necklace, some fire nation food, and some scrolls. He gave them to me; I was barely able to see over the large stack of gifts. "Uh... Thanks?" He nodded he head and went on his way. I put the stuff down and wiped the sweat off of my forehead. "Why would Zuko want to see me?" I thought to myself.
