Chiron sat on the pristine porch of the big house in his wheel chair with fake legs. He sat stared sadly at cabin 3 and 6. How they were so full of life, even with what they've both been through. And now they're in Tartarus, and even though he put much pride and confidence in Percy and especially Annabeth, he knew there was no way out. He doubted Nico would make it out alive and sane himself. And Nico was a very strong son of Hades. He thought about the first time he saw Annabeth fight. She was fast and witty. A true daughter of Athena. He practically raised her as his own. He watched over her when she and Percy started dating even though Athena, Poseidon, Sally and even Paul were doing plenty enough of that. And now his 'little girl' had fallen to certain death. He knew he had trained her to full extent but was so nervous to let go. And her dear, beloved Percy. Gone on his first quest within two weeks of coming to camp and battling the war god in that first quest, going to the underworld to confront the lord himself, and coming back alive. Going on to be one of the most powerful demigods in history, and his fatal flaw has taken him down. He had grown close to these demi-gods. Achieved so much, and now they're gone. He was psyching himself up to deliver the news that Leo had told him. It was the worst iris-message he had ever received. The Athena cabin will be absolutely devastated. Malcolm always saw Annabeth as a little sister and will certainly be guilty of taking on the roll of cabin 6 counselor. Chiron wasn't sure how Tyson was going to react. He was coming home in a few days to deliver more swords for when the Romans attacked. Tyson always looked up to Percy and Annabeth. The poor Cyclops will be in tears. They could be on their most dangerous journey yet. And now the camp is about to face the Romans all thanks to a 'ballista accident' according to Leo. Their biggest threat and the news would definitely damper the energy of the campers. It's now or never, he decided as Chiron rose out of his wheelchair, his white fur hindquarters spilling out behind him. He saw Rachel walking by, and he beckoned her up to the porch. This isn't going to be easy.
