Out of all the dates Jack had taken him on - official and nonofficial - his absolute favorite was the day they went snooping in the other Guardians' homes.

They first went to Tooth's palace where they played with the mini-fairies who didn't mind slacking off on their jobs. Baby Tooth and several other fairies fawned over Jack's perfect teeth and Jamie's equally healthy teeth while the two boys watched with awe as teeth were collected and neatly filed away. Jack showed Jamie his tooth box, and after several minutes of contemplation, Jamie opened it and relived the milestones of his life, including the night seven years ago when he met Jack. Tooth returned from a trip (ever since Pitch was sealed away, she made it a habit to visit a few kids every day) and shooed the boys away. They were distracting her fairies from work, and Jamie was getting light-headed from the impressive height the palace had over the ocean.

Second they visited Bunny's Warren. They made a game out of disrupting the eggs' paint process and making their own designs on the eggs. Jack painted a Communist symbol on one of the eggs. When Jamie pestered him to paint over it, Jack said the egg would go to a communist country. Jamie took it into his own hands and painted it over with a thick coat of blue that came from a conveniently located flower. Jack joked about shoving Jamie in the coloring pool and was trying to get one of Jamie's feet in when Bunny hopped over with one of the "redesigned" eggs. Jack shoved Bunny in the coloring pool before making a getaway with Jamie.

Third they tiptoed around North's workshop and helped Phil with his painting of toy soldiers. There had been another yeti that was in charge, but he had a mental breakdown after North told him to change the colors – again – and was promptly assigned to testing duty. Jamie got pulled away by the elves Sam and Daisy who wanted his assistance with taping gifts. He accidently taped Daisy's foot to one box, and when he lifted it up, Daisy went with it, dangling off the edge of the box by her foot. Jack joined Jamie and they didn't get far with giftwrapping together. With the help of a yeti, Sam "piloted" an airplane around the boys' faces, taping their faces together. North received news of a disturbance in the gift wrapping section and disposed of Jack and Jamie, not without a kiss on each forehead and a warning to be "good". Jack had other ideas of what that meant.

Finally, when Manny's presence was high in the night sky, Jack took Jamie to a desolate grass field when they spent a long hour frolicking in ways that North couldn't have meant when he told them to be good. Sandy visited them after they had an hour to simmer down, and gave them a show of fireworks. North needed to give Sandy a warning about being good too; the little man weaved images that needed a "view discretion is advised" warning. After the show the boys went to Jack's partially constructed house of ice and spent the rest of the night cuddled on Jack's bed.

The next morning North ordered Jack to write a letter of apology to Bunny. The poor pooka had enough dye in his fur to last at least a week.
