Hey! I'm back, with a completely unexpected (even by me) sequel to Off, requested by exactly one person! But the idea struck me so I'm writing it. This is going to become a series, I don't know when I'll write the next part though, so this will be updated kinda sporadicly.

Ok, I know I moved out of Amity when we were kids, but you've told me about Danny and his friends before, and I remember that they were never anything like that, and it's only been, like, a year since you talked about them. Till your last letter.

No-one changes that much in so little time. Sure, they missed a class here and there, (right? You said something about bad attendance) always looked tired, but so what?

They were teenagers, just like the rest of you, they were probably up late hanging out. Or skipping class to hang out.

But, you're my best friend, and you sounded pretty freaked out, so I guess I'll listen to you and stay away from them.

I still don't like it, you know how curious I am, but I'll do my best to stay away. The minute something really interesting happens though, I'm asking, and I promise I'll call you from my room if I get sent to a psych ward.

However… why do they freak you out so much? You're right, I've never heard the word Halfa before, and why are battles and wastelands so important?

I get the ghost thing, you've told me about Amity's ectoplasmic issue, but why would Danny and his friends be worrying about that? His parents are so protective, they wouldn't let a ghost within 20 feet of their son (or daughter) unless they were dead (no joke intended), and his friends have no ties to that kind of thing.

What do you mean they aren't human? Their parents are human aren't they? I know Danny's parents are scientists but I find it hard to believe they'd experiment on another human, especially to the point of turning them into a different species.

That letter of yours is just full of mysteries isn't it? Every time I think I've got an answer I think of something that just raises another question.

So I'll just ask one, that encompasses all of them… why?

Ok, not as happy with this as I am with Off, but it's been a while since I've posted something so I worked on this, I might change it a little bit at a later date, but for now its staying as is.
