Makoto was certain he was not one to be jealous. He was sure of it.

But hearing Haru tell about the water being his love, well maybe he could get a little jealous. Since technically, he might have a little crush on him.

The dark brunet shouldn't really dwell on it since he knew that that's how the raven head was.

...Yes, definitely shouldn't dwell on it.

"Haru!"

How many times had it been since the team captain called the swimming teen on the pool? Oh yeah, a thousand times by now.

Makoto let out a sigh and watched his still swimming best friend. Surely, he could imagine this kind of attitude but the guy was swimming for ages now.

The taller male was worried. Haru should really consider stopping by now.

And no, he wasn't being bias and was wanting the other to rather talk to him than swim in the pool.

"I don't think Haru-chan would be stopping any moment, Makoto-sempai," Nagisa commented with a bright. "Don't worry! I'm sure Haru-chan would be okay!"

Well, that was true.

Makoto nodded and let his eyes wander at the graceful swimming of his best friend. Haru really liked the water.

He didn't notice how his eyes darkened a little and how a slight frown came across his face. He just made his way to one corner and continued to watch the other.

The dark-haired might get into trouble after all. It was better safe than sorry.

"Makoto-sempai, don't sulk! Haru-chan likes you, too!"

The dark brunet beeped red at that and turned to the little blonde who was running away with Rei.

"Nagisa!"

No, that wasn't true. He wasn't sulking. And most definitely not jealous.

Haru turned to the commotion and Makoto found himself alone with his best friend-slash-secret crush.

"Makoto?" the way the black-haired asked this was emotionless but the tall brunet could see worry in his eyes that just made him blush harder. "You're red."

Other translation; "Are you sick?" or "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm okay," Makoto managed to say with an even tone and a small smile.

Though the other didn't seem to believe it and put his hand on the teen's forehead.

Cue heat rising and blush darkening.

"You're red and burning up. You're sick."

The dark brunet wanted to say it was because he was so close but he just couldn't open his mouth at the closeness.

"Let's go home then."

'Wait, wait...,' the team captain thought he might have heard wrong. 'Did he just say "let's go home"? As in us? The two of us?'

"Aren't you still swimming?" Makoto asked concerned for the other who looked away.

"There's water at home," Haru stated as a matter-of-fact, eyes else where. "I can used that but you, on the other hand, needs to rest."

Was it possible to die early and from cuteness?

Makoto let out a smile or grin. So sue him but he would choose to be sick anytime, if that would mean his best friend would turn his attention to his than the water.

And yes, he still denied that he was jealous of the water.

A/N: ...Is it OOC? I'm so sorry! And hope some of you enjoyed it?
