Audrey pov.
We didn't spend those days in Delmarva. Steven did. He was my hero and he wanted to show me the Sword that Never Was. But right now it was July 4th.
"Hey, Melvin?" I asked. "What is it?" Melvin said.
"Steven and the Gems were very crazy," I said. "He won't send me this sword that never was. It was going to be in my collection back in Harvey Street. We were even stranded here."
"I know," Melvin said. "But he wants us at the beach so we can see the fireworks, right?"
"Yeah," I said. "That would be perfect if we saw fireworks together."
So here we were at the beach and this was where we sat with a blanket we had to sit next to Lotta and Gerald and Fredo and Dot and Pinkeye. The fireworks started and they were amazing. I really wanted to know the story about the sword that never was!
Suddenly, as the show continued, there were pictures about the sword that never was. Steven and I had seen the sword in the Sky Spire.
"It's in the sky spire," Steven told me. "I'll take you there sometime."
How did I even know?
The sword that never was showed up in different Gem places. The fireworks ended at 11:30 and we all went to bed.
Audrey had this dream:
"What is this?" Pink Diamond said in confusion. She saw the sword.
"It's a sword," Blue Diamond said. The sword fell into my eye, I was about to die, and I don't know why.
"Why is there a little girl standing?" Pink Diamond asked.
"I like this place," I said.
The diamonds in the authority started pulling away.
That was not the sword.
