"I think I'm doing this wrong."

"It's art, Peter. You can't do it wrong."

"I'm pretty sure I can. Because I'm pretty sure I am."

"Let me see."

"No. You'll laugh."

"I won't. I promise."

"You will!"

"Pinkie swear."

"Fine. But I'm not going to forgive you if you laugh."

"Oh. Peter. It's..."

"You're laughing."

"I'm not!"

"In your head. You're laughing!"

"I'm not."

"Your eyes are crinkling."

"Ok. Maybe I'm laughing a little but only on the inside."

"I told you I was doing it wrong."

"Peter?"

"What, Neal?"

"Did a clown explode inside your head? Is this really what you see?"

"I'm guessing the correct answer to that would be no."

"Oh Peter."

"I'm done."

"I love it. I do. It's wonderful."

"You're lying."

"A little. But Peter. Lookit it."

"It's horrible."

"It's, ok it's pretty bad. But I still love it."

"We should burn it."

"No! The more I stare at it, the more I love it. We should have it framed."

"Neal. Stop mocking me."

"I'm serious. This is amazing. This is - you."

"But..."

"And I love it like I love you."

"Great. Compare me to the worst painting ever."

"No, I love it because it's flawed and awkward and beautiful."

"Neal?"

"Hm?"

"Are you seriously going to frame this?"

"As soon as you sign it."

"Great. … Neal?"

"Yeah, Peter?

"I love you too."
