This is a theory I made up for a few of my stories. From now on, on the first chapter of each new story, I will note whether or not the theory is true in that story. I have no problem at all, if anyone wants to use this theory in their story, but I'd greatly appreciate it if that person credit me for the idea and maybe even let me know (so I can feel like I helped a little :D ) However, if anyone had ideas very similar to those in this theory, I will not get on you claiming that you stole my ideas. But if you want to use this theory as an element in your story, please let readers know that you are using it.

Fan-Fiction Title

Butchercup's Counterpart Theory is true

or...

Butchercup's Counterpart Theory in use

or something like that... :) I don't know, do what you please with this.

This is Butchercup's Counterpart Theory

There is a special connection between counterparts.

In general, if one counterpart is hurt, the other senses it, they sense that something is wrong. If one of the Powerpuff Girls were to die or become severely injured, the male counterpart would become vulnerable. The boy is no longer tolerant of the things they used to be able to endure. Average things which hurt humans now hurt the boy, and they can be killed and hurt like any human. They still possess their powers, but their mild invincibility is lost with their counterpart. The tolerance may only return to the boy once the girl recovers from severe injury, or if the girl is somehow revived.

This is not the case vice-versa, and is why the Boys' death had no effect on the Girls after their first fight. If a Rowdyruff Boy dies or is severely injured, the female counterpart will only sense it, they will not lose tolerance. This is because the Girls were made first; they are the originals. The Boys, though they were not made out of the same ingredients, were based off of the Girls.

The fact that their ingredients were different has nothing to do with the connection. The Powerpuff and Rowdyruff connection is nothing science can truly explain; it is just simply so. If the ingredients had anything to do with it, then why would there be a male equivalent for each Girl? Since the ingredients were completely different (not even opposite, just different), why didn't the boys look different too? If the ingredients had anything to do with it, there would be no counterparts; there would just be three super powered boys.

In a more extreme case (this part of the Theory is optional for a story)

Even without powers, counterparts have the ability to protect one another. If they are together and know that their counterpart is in harm's way, they can create a force that protects both of them from the danger. This may only happen once the counterpart who wishes to protect the other (or both) realizes that they are a part of each other, they are connected and need each other to be complete.

Anybody may use this Theory as an element in their story so long as they credit me for the ideas :) Hope you all understand! And thank you for reading!
