I've Collided with the Truth

I've fallen hard upon the truth

And every bit of me is broken

And though it's hard for me to say

It was entirely my fault; I am to blame

It was as though a dream

A dream transformed into a nightmare

At first it seemed to be true love

But once again I went forward without consent

For a minute all the world seemed perfect

You were in my arms without another

No one was around to stand in my way

But when I learned the piercing truth

Everything shattered into a million pieces

Now I've collided with the truth

You made it seem my afterlife had purpose

And for a while, I believed

But then I learned you had deceived me

There was another in your life

And when you left for her

You once again made my afterlife empty

But as I've said, I'm entirely to blame

I brought myself into it without a thought or care

And again I collided with the truth

Never have I felt so alone

Never will I again

Never have I had an everlasting love

Never was there one like you

That let me collide so hard with the truth

Victor, this is to you

Okay, this one may not be as good as my first one, Drowning In A Dream, in my opinion, but you tell me what YOU think. Thank you to all who read and review this!
