My Little Sisters Dream
Chapter One
Bella's P.O.V.
Edward has been watching me sleep since he told me he had and it had become a daily routine. He makes me feel safe and secure.
"Edward," I called, my eyes still closed.
"Yes," I heard his lovely voice comfort me.
"It's fine. I just wanted to confirm you were there"
"Bella, I'll never leave you."
"I know. I trust you," I thought for a minute confirming my speech. I do trust him. I know I do.
"Charlie is coming but there's someone else. I'll be back when they've gone."
"But who," he had gone before any of my questions had been answered.
There was a loud knock and all of a sudden. Charlie peeked through the closed door and crept into my room just as I was waking up. I could sense someone there with Charlie. I widened my eyes when I saw who was there. It was Ella, my younger sister. She looked at me stunned.
"You're so pale," she exclaimed.
"There's no sun in Forks," I explained nervously. She laughed at my obvious fact and clutched her stomach in agony. "It's not that funny," I tell my always-has-been-annoying sister in irritancy. I thought I'd seen the last of her before I left for Forks.
"Don't you want to tell your sister something? Tell her about your friends," Charlie said emphasizing the word friends. I hoped Ella wouldn't notice but she's like a lion waiting at every opportunity to strike its prey.
"You have a boy-friend?" she asked curiously, obviously entertained by my new life in Forks.
"Yes, I have a boyfriend called Edward if it's any of your business Ella," I scolded her feeling a sudden urge to slap her.
I turn to Charlie and say happily "Edward is taking me out again to play with his family. I need to improve my baseball skills to be somewhat near competition to the Cullens. There terrifically good "
"Edward Cullen. Has he got a brother?" sounding excited.
"No," I reply trying to sound upset for her. "He has 2 brothers who have girlfriends."
She had a disappointed smile across her face as she backed towards the door, Charlie at her side.
"What's for breakfast," I ask Charlie casually.
"Well, I-I emm I already ate," he stuttered, sheepishly.
"It's okay," I assure him. "I'll get something on my way to Edwards"
He shifts from one foot to another uneasily and headed for the door.
"Bye Charlie, Bye Ella," I grinned happily at the thought of me being with Edward as soon as they left. They walked towards the door and stumbled heavily towards the stairs.
I scrambled out of my bed and went straight to the bathroom leaving a note on my bed for Edward.
I ran the hot water for two minutes whilst I ran back quickly to my room where I saw Edward standing casually against my wall.
"I'm going for a shower." I told him, though judging by the note in his hand he already knows.
I climbed into the shower and quickly washed myself.
When I returned Edward was flicking through one of my baby books which I always have in my room. It was Hansel and Gretel and I was astonished to find that his head was nodding.
"I remember this story. Esme read it to me once and I loved it, besides the fact that I was 104 when she read it to me."
"Wow," I whispered carefully. "I'm ready to go now Edward"
"Okay, let's go."
