After Sheldon and Amy got married they moved to a house of their own. They had a nice three bedroom house with a garden and a cat flap. There were lots of changes for married Sheldon, but the living room was set up exactly like Apartment 4A complete with the old sofa, Sheldon's Spot was immediately reinstated on the left hand side.
As they had a cat flap Sheldon insisted that it would be logical that a cat should be obtained. Amy asked her husband how many cats he was thinking of? She had no objection to having a cat in their new house but she wasn't so keen on 25 cats!
Sheldon then came up with the Cat Agreement, stipulating that after the first cat Amy would have a veto on any plans for future cats. In due course a small ginger cat arrived in the house, as the kitty was intelligent, curious and playful he was named Feynman.

Feynman was a little bit wary of this strange new place at first but his curiosity soon got the better of him, he was soon found in all sorts of strange places in the house. He liked to wait in the kitchen so he could "help" with food preparation. Then Feynman found his favourite part of the house, Sheldon's Spot!
Sheldon would come home from work to find Feynman asleep in his Spot! Sheldon tried all sorts of tricks to keep the kitty out, he would try enticing the cat away with tuna and salmon, but he would then sneak back when Sheldon would get up. Feynman loved playing this game with Sheldon, Amy found it hilarious seeing her highly intelligent husband being outwitted by a small feline.

Then one day Amy had to work late, when she called Sheldon to say she was coming home he announced that he had solved his cat problem. Amy came home to see her husband sat in his Spot in a triumphant pose, reading a Physics journal and with Feynman curled up on his lap!
