I own nothing. If I did, Angel would still be alive.

Mimi lay in the hospital bed, fairly calm for someone who was giving birth for the first time. The anesthesia must have done it's job.

Roger, on the other hand, clutched tightly to Mimi's right hand, his face contorted into a painful grimace.

"How much longer?" he panted, glancing frantically around the room.

Maureen laughed, but Joanne quickly shushed her.

"It's all relative," Joanne explained from her seat under Maureen in a green vinyl chair.

"To what?" Roger wailed, clenching Mimi's fingers tighter.

Joanne opened her mouth, but shut it as the doctor breezed in.

"How are we doing, Mimi?" the man asked, brushing an imaginary speck of dirt off his pristine white lab coat.

Mimi grunted, attempting to wrest her suffocated fingers from Roger's sweaty grasp to no avail.

"Aaah, attracted quite a crowd, have we?" the doctor chuckled, but the light didn't quite reach his hard green eyes.

"Yes, yes we have," Maureen piped up, peeling herself off Joanne to rise to her impressive height of five foot four, where she somehow managed to tower over the poor doctor although being at least three inches shorter.

The doctor gave a quick nod, adjusted the needle that poked out of Mimi's arm, and quickly hurried out.

Three hours later, four nurses and one extremely frazzled doctor delivered a beaming baby girl.

The bohos chattered quietly, crowding around the bed to get a look at what would be the first of the next generation.

"What are you going to name her?" Maureen asked, fingers tenderly interlaced with Joanne's.

"Uhh…" Mimi looked to Collins. They had discussed a name, but she would need his blessing.

"Go ahead," he nodded, tears pooling in the corners of his brown eyes.

"Angel," Mimi murmured, kissing the small head of downy brown hair.

Collins smiled through his tears.

As Angel was passed around from lap to lap, Mimi could have sworn she felt someone squeeze her left hand, but when she looked up, no one was there.

Mimi smiled up towards the ceiling.

"I love you," she mouthed.

How'd I do? First time writing Mimi. R&R!
