-Rain-
Mikan Sakura, a girl with auburn hair and hazel eyes waited for her lover. She sat on a huge red couch and observed the glass window. The rain did not cease to fall. It was their anniversary today and they agreed to meet each other in her house yet he is late. She waited patiently. Maybe it was because of the traffic. She waited.
An hour has past, when she heard the doorbell rang.
She quickly went to the closet to get a towel and fled to the stairs and opened the gigantic wooden doors.
The man looked at her with caring and loving ruby eyes. The rain damped his raven hair and clothes.
"You're late and soaking, Natsume!" she exclaimed.
Natsume smirked.
She sighed. She pulled him inside her house. She let him sit on a sofa and draped the towel over him.
Natsume looked at her. He held her hands and squeezed it.
Mikan's brow rose. "What's wrong?"
"I love you, Mikan." Natsume's deep and husky voice said.
Her heart pounded against her chest. "Mou, you're making me embarrassed." She said with a blush.
"I love you." He repeated.
"I love you too, Natsume. More than you think that I do." She replied as she kissed him on his lips. She was surprised that his lips were so cold. "I'll get you something warm to drink, ne?" she cheerfully asked.
Natsume did not reply.
She went to the kitchen and readied two cups of hot chocolate. When she was about to return, her cell phone rang. She placed one cup on the table and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Mikan, it's me, Ruka."
She smiled. "Hi! How are you and Hotaru?" Ruka and Hotaru were a couple and she was so sure that within this year, they will marry.
"We're fine." There was silence.
"Why did you call me?" she asked.
"It's about Natsume."
"What about him? He's actually here with me. He was soaking when he came and I am just about to give him a cup of hot chocolate." She stated happily.
Ruka broke down. He was sobbing. "Mikan, Natsume is dead. When he was on his way there, a truck with a drunk driver crashed with his car. He died! We saw a ring in his pocket. I think he was about to propose to you. I'm sorry, Mikan."
"What are you saying Ruka? Natsume is not dead, he is here!" she said as she went towards the living room where she left her beloved. She was so sure that he was there.
But when she arrived, there was no Natsume. There was only a wet towel that she has given him.
She dropped the cup and it broke as it hit the marble floor. Tears came out of her eyes. She dropped her phone too. She could hear a faint voice of Ruka calling her.
Natsume, her most beloved was dead. How can that be? They were so happy.
But now, he was dead. He is gone forever.

Author's Note: Hello! Actually, this is taken from a ghost book. My friends were reading it out loud while we were having a group work, well, I changed some things but it has the same plot. It really was touching. Her boyfriend came to her to say I love once more. It's really heartbreaking….
Anyways….please review!
