Haven't you always had someone telling you what to do? Your mom, telling you to clean your room. Your teacher, telling you to focus, or do math. In short, we have never had complete freedom. There is almost always someone looking after you, making sure you don't die. You might think your free, but we never are. That's what I like. If everybody had complete freedom, the world would be in chaos. I'm not saying that the world should be controlled by a dictator-type person, it's just that maybe too much freedom is a bad thing.

Enter me. I am a girl. Aged 16. My birthday passed yesterday. I read that in the u.s.a, 50 years ago, kids got cars for their birthdays. Cars. Now, they are a thing of the past. With the new iPhone 55.5 people only have to think where they want to go, and they go there. Ever since the war of 2024, when all the countries joined together to make a giant nation called Kaity, named after the 2 major generals of the war. Kaityis a nation of fattys. As in, if you are under 500lb, your underweight. Me and some of my other friends practice karate every day in a run down dojo in the Bayview strip mall. We named it after Bobby Wasabi, a great martial arts star.

I live in one of the poorer districts of Kaity, right where a city once called Seaford once stood, in a place once called California. Every day, I walk to my job producing fast food wrappers, and I see remains of roads and buildings, all torn apart by war. I walk with my friend Grace. Whenever we pass a ruined building, she always says, "Kim, look at what once was. We destroyed it our rage for power and justice." I always respond "And it's not over."

I'm true. We always talk about 'the war of the past' but in reality, it's not over. It never will be.
