Draco's eyes fell on Ginny and his mind traveled unwillingly back to the last time he saw her. It was on that night. The night his life changed forever.

He hadn't really thought about what would happen when he finally fixed that Vanishing Cabinet and let Deatheaters into Hogwarts. He just thought about what would happen to him and his family if he didn't. He began to realize a fight would occur when he saw that blasted Potter had his friends waiting outside the Room of Requirement. He'd had to use some of his darkness powder. Those idiot Weasels that sold it to him hadn't even dreamed of how he would use it.

Draco's eyes flicked to the twins and then back to Ginny. He had discovered her there in the darkness after guiding the Deatheaters through. His Hand of Glory showed her standing stock still listening intently for any sound of movement. It was her expression that drew him to her. She looked vulnerable and terrified, but grimly determined, much the same as he. She had a sort of beauty in that moment. Before he knew it, he was kissing her. It wasn't a long kiss, but it was passionate, full of all the fear he felt and all the hatred he felt for himself and the others that put him in this horrible situation. As he pulled away realized that she hadn't fought him, probably thought it was her perfect boyfriend Potter, but he didn't care. Without a word, he'd simply stepped away and run to catch up with the rest of the group.

Now she was there in front of him again, admittedly, she had a very different expression on her face, but he couldn't help smirking when he thought about that kiss she didn't know they shared. He didn't know what would happen next, but it was guaranteed to be fun.
