Just a random little thing I came up with while banned from the computer. Enjoy! Disclaimer- I've recently discovered that I own a dictionary. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Doctor Who.
The Doctor flipped his mobile shut and shoved it into his coat pocket.
"And?" Asked Donna.
"They won't do it." The Doctor replied, throwing his hands in the air. "They won't deliver us a pizza."
Donna looked affronted at the Doctors negative response.
"What?!"
"I know!" The Time Lord agreed, pacing around the TARDIS console impatiently. "I don't know what I did wrong! I mean, I was polite, just ordered a regular pepperoni pizza. And they said our address wasn't valid. Welll, they said it a bit differently than that, but same basic message."
Donna raised an eyebrow.
"What address did you give them?" She inquired.
"Baker street. Big blue box on Baker street. Can't miss it, I said. And they said, give us the actual address. So I said that is the actual address. And they said, nice try, mate, and hung up on me! I mean, really!"
"Ridiculous." Said Donna.
"Absolutely." The Doctor glanced up at his companion. "It was a perfectly valid address." He fumed.
"They probably thought you were prank calling them, Doctor." Donna theorized.
"...Still."
"Shall we venture outside for dinner then?"
The Doctor nodded.
"I think we shall."
The pair made their way to the TARDIS doors and stepped outside, continuing their ongoing quest for a takeout dinner.
And that's that. Hope you liked it. If you did, go ahead and tell me in a review. If you didn't, you can tell me that too. If you don't choose to leave a review, have a fantastic day anyways and DFTBA!
