Well, this is just how I wanted to spend spring break, tied to a pole with a monster contemplating my death.
"Will you shut up?" grunted Alyssa.
"Just hold on, I WILL GET MY REVENGE!" Alice shouted.
Okay, so maybe I should start from the beginning. Three weeks ago it was the last day of the fourth quarter, and the bell for fourth period was about to ring, so I got up and started walking for the door. But, just as the bell rang, Dale grabbed me.
Now this is strange because I've never talked to Dale at all. And I mean not even a word. Around school, she was known as a mean, prissy girl, so I didn't want any of that in my life. So, after she grabbed me, she told me to stay and that she wanted to talk to me.
So, I stayed, which was a bad decision by the way, after the bell rang starting fourth period. She took me down a hallway that I never knew existed before suddenly, I was pinned to the wall.
"I've had a hunch for a while, but now I know and I have found you. I cannot wait to kill the child of shadows.
I had no idea what she meant by that. Then, I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. I looked at my shoulder to see that Dale's hands had turned into razor-sharp claws. That was when I heard my friend Alice running down the hall shouting my name. When she got to us, she gasped and stood tall.
"Leave him alone or suffer the revenge of Nemesis!" she yelled.
Wait, does she mean like the Greek Goddess Nemesis. All of this was causing me to have a slight mental breakdown.
Dale or whatever looked Alice straight into the eye and hissed, "DON'T BE FOOLED YOUNG ONE! I WILL BE BACK FOR MATHIAS, SON OF SHADOWS!" With that, her eyes began to glow a sickly green and she disappeared.
"Okay, what is going on? And how did she know my full name. No one knows that," I told Alice angrily.
"Be quiet or we'll get caught. Ugh, we need to talk to Ms. Wallace right now," She told me as we walked down the hall.
We walked into the office and Alice went up to the secretary.
"We need to see Ms. Wallace right now. It's about Mathias," was all she said and the secretary's eyes widened and the woman got up and ran to get Ms. Wallace.
"Follow me," was all she said and we followed her.
We walked into Ms. Wallace's office and Alice ran up to Ms. Wallace. They began whispering with each other before they turned to me. Finally, Alice said that I needed to call my mom and tell her the time has come. After that, Alice escorted me out of the school when all of a sudden she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the woods.
