In Vale there was a small bar located in one of the many alleyways, hidden to most unless they were told about it or somehow stumbled across it. Only around fifteen people could fit in it, sans the bartender, though aside from the location and the limit on the occupants there was was one other thing that kept it from becoming popular with the honest folk and the criminals of the city, it was only open of one day every month. Now your first though may be 'Why does that stop the criminals from just breaking in?' and that indeed is a good question. The answer to that question is as simple as it is misunderstood, you see the reason they don't do that is that they can't.

Now most people would usually have one of two responses for when I tell them that, the first and most common is a "Huh" or perhaps a "What". The second response is simple acceptance of that. Now in no way is either of these a wrong thing to do, however neither will make it any easier to understand that fact, so it is best just dropped for now. Though in our story we may comeback to it. Now is not the time though, no now is the time to start. A start that takes place in this little hovel.

Called Last Stardust

Four figures were in the bar, three sitting down in corner booth, the other the bartender. The bartender was average, brown hair, brown eyes, you could see him walking down the street and never notice him. The three others each had their own differences that set them apart from the common man.

Currently holding a glass of red wine the first was a man with blond hair a slight curl to it, a wide brimmed black hat sat atop his head slightly rugged and old looking. Grey wraps were around his lower arms and his hands leaving his fingers free kept in place with a buckle. Blue pants and a grey overcoat with a short cape completed his look.

Sitting across from him was a women, stern and currently without a brink other than the free glass of water that came with getting a table. Green eyes, and blond hair that was looking to have recently fallen out a well prepared hair style. A deep purple raincoat sat on her shoulders still dripping from the rain outside obscured her outfit from eyes.

The third person was another man, white bearded a wrinkled he was noticeably older than his fellow companions. A black coat, white scarf, and a pair of white gloves was his ensemble. He was currently eating what appeared to be an assortment of food, all of it enough to fill up a household of four.

"How was your walk here?" The blond man asked the women

"Rain."

"Ah just as the weatherman said. Anyway take your seat we have the whole place to ourselves again, so anything happen on your end of the goal?"

"No new information that is important to goal, though I have heard that the Dark Queen has gifted power to another trying to spread her beliefs no doubt. What about you, and teacher?"

"Teacher told me his info before he ordered, nothing on his end, no new anything from the cure to the old research. I on the other hand," he paused as he reached inside his coat and pulled out a gold locket and placed it on the table "I found it at a auction in Atlas, the auction was about items that the current head of the Schnee family deems unwanted." He finished with a smile as he slid it over to the woman.

She picked it up and looked it over, clicking the button that opened it her face became a small smile. "He had no idea what this is did he?"

"None in the slightest. There is another interesting thing about that too, look around the rim there's numbers. Which after putting them into the world map turn out to have been coordinates."

"Really? Where did they point to?"

"There were two points marked with them, one someplace by that old Glenn place. The other is the real kicker, and I find it quite funny. Beacon."

The woman looked surprised but quickly schooled her face, "Impossible, we've all searched it at different times and once all together there is no way we could have missed anything."

The blond man smiled again, "Not the current Beacon, no that we have combed to the last brick. The old Beacon is where it points." As he finished speaking the old grandfather clock that was in the bar started to chime. "Looks like our time is up. I shall see you two next month, sister I take it you shall be the one to search the old proving grounds?"

"Indeed, see you brother. Teacher."
