I Need A Doctor.

Chapter 1: My Doctor.

"Oh, sweetheart. Please eat something." My mother, Jackie Tyler, pleaded for the millionth time. I still couldn't be bothered to do something as mundane as eating.

We were stuck in a parallel universe and all she could think about was eating.
"I'm not hungry, mum." I mumbled, looking out the window of the large dining room. "I just need some air."

She exchanged glances with dad before turning to me, concern evident on her face.

"You go get some air, love. Take your time." She said, stroking my hair gently, "Just come back to us. Let him go."

"If only it were that easy." I whispered and left the room.

Parallel universe dad's house was great. Right up mum's alley with its elegant furniture and expensive everything. It was just too bad I wasn't like her.

The house made me feel like I was suffocating, dying inside, but I knew it wasn't the house's fault. I was simply living in the wrong universe. Literally.

That wouldn't have mattered much anyway but for one thing. He wasn't there.

My Doctor wasn't there.

A sob escaped me as I walked out into the cold night.

"Please come back!" I cried, looking up at the sky, tears running freely down my face, "Don't leave me here! Doctor!"

No reply. Not that I had expected one.

I was making do with his last words to me.

"And I suppose if it's my last chance to say it..Rose Tyler-"

Sobs shook my body and my knees gave way.

I cried on the damp grass for myself and for the man-sort of- that I had lost.

The wolf wasn't so bad anymore. Not nearly as strong as it had been nor as bright.

I didn't know how long I sat there, sobbing and staring at the stars when something pulled me out of my trance-like state.

A peculiar yet familiar sound.
Slowly I got up and walked towards it, warily at first, then faster till I was running into the thick woods that surrounded the manor.

I past trees and bushes till I was in a clearing. What waited there made my heart leap with joy.

A blue police box. The TARDIS.

"Doctor!" I yelled as I got closer and the door started to open.

Whooooosh.
Something tackled my side, making me fall over and hit my head on the ground. I groaned as my vision started to blur, black spots dancing in front of my eyes like drunk sailors.

"Get off the human, Cerio! We had a deal!" A male voice shouted from somewhere in front of me.

There was a hiss and I felt myself being roughly picked off the ground, something sharp digging into my torso. I whimpered.

"You are weak!" The thing hissed, its voice like nails against a chalkboard, "There is nothing you can do to stop us, Doctor!"

"Oh, we'll see about that, won't we?" He chuckled distantly.

I smiled slightly and went unconscious.

He was here.

I knew without a doubt that I was safe.
