Earth. Five simple letters. E A R T H. But they mean the world to you. To me. They mean hope. They mean safety. They mean freedom. The freedom to have friends without the fear that tomorrow they'll die. The freedom to have children and not worry if they will survive another day. Because the truth is, none of us worry about ourselves. We worry about our children, our friends, our race. We worry about love. We worry about truth. At first, I told the fleet I knew were earth is because we needed hope. But now, those five letters mean so much more. Because now, we know where earth is. We know that someday, we WILL find it. No more jumps. No more fear. No more cylons breathing down our backs. But we cannot bring the cylons to earth. We cannot place the negativity that the cylons represent on the people of earth. For that IS what the cylons represent. Negativity. Every child that cries out in the night, every parent that freaks when their child is a minute late coming home, every time our pilots go out- it's the cylons. It's their fault. It's our fault. And we must be strong, for we cannot place that burden on the shoulders of the people of earth. We must fight our battles. And when we win, for we WILL win, we shall find earth. We shall find hope. We shall find safety. We shall find freedom. Thank You.
