I. Pilot

The thunder quaked with them.

Her palms were clammy and gummed to his shoulders, where her fingers gripped at his scorching flesh as though he was her anchor. His eyes seemed, to her, ablaze and his gaze pierced hers. And, oh, she had never experienced anything so heart-wrenching - she had never wanted to succumb to another so severely. She strangled a squeal from her diaphragm through the erratic pants for more, for forever, for him. How could she had ever imagined a human - of all beings - could overwhelm her in such foreign ways? How could she have ever guessed that a human could inspire the butterflies to soar from her clenched abdomen and up through her pulsating veins? How could she have ever anticipated that she'd fall into the chasm of devastating love that she'd only ever heard her mother speak of, with a human?

His arms were strong, and they encased her; he drew her in.

Rain pounded against the glass of the windows, but Renesmee couldn't hear it.

AN:I know this was an extremely short chapter but, as the title suggests, this is only a preview if you will. I really wanted to see if I had an audience for this story before I immersed myself in it. So, if you think I should continue, please review! If you don't think this is such an interesting idea, please review! I would love feedback before I posted more chapters, but if I get enough positive feedback, I will definitely post more chapters very soon! Thanks!
