Dear Someone,
My mum told me to write to you— whoever you are, as a way to jumpstart me education. I don't know why I have to jumpstart it, because I already know mostly everything she can teach me, but if she wants me to, I suppose that I will.
Yesterday was my 11th birthday. I knew nothing would happen, my parents made me go out to town to get my mind off of it, but when the owl didn't come, it still hurt.
I am a wizard, but I will never be able to go to a real school. I'm a freak, after all— a monster.
Everyone except for my mum either ignores me or hates me. I don't know which category I fall into yet.
Love,
Remus Lupin
A/N: Not my first Harry Potter fic, but definitely the only one I've published. This will span all seven years of Remus at Hogwarts— and at this point, I don't know how many chapters each 'arc' will be.
Also, this formatting is supposed to resemble Steven Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but is is no way based on the novel.
