Disclaimer : I do not own some of the characters in this story, like Draco and Harry, because unfortunately they belong to the lovely J.K. Rowling and not me. BUT I do own some additional characters and of course the storyline :) and thanks to belebenpanda for the advice ;)

It's my first attempt at a fanfic, go easy on me :)

Boring part over, read on!

[Ellie Goulding - This Love Will Be Your Downfall]

Who are we to be emotional?
Who are we to play with hearts and throw away it all?
Who are we to turn each others heads?
Who are we to find ourselves in other peoples beds?

It was 4am, and Draco still couldn't sleep. His mind was racing, his white-blonde tousled hair standing on top of his head. All because of her.

He didn't want it to be like this, not for it to end this way. It was killing him inside, tearing him apart, but what could he do?
Nothing. He couldn't do anything, and that's what hurt him the most.
Slowly sitting up on his creaking bed, he gazed out of the open window. He couldn't help but wonder where she was, who she was with, what she was thinking. A nervous pain shot through his stomach.

Maybe it was better if he didn't know.

And that's when his phone buzzed, causing his heart to stop for just a second.

"DAMMIT HARRY." He slammed the phone down with such force that a long crack appeared on his bedside locker.
Harry was the last person Draco wanted to hear from right now.

The phone buzzed again.

"What do you want?" he asked through gritted teeth.
"D-Draco...I'm sorry. Where is she?" Harry replied, clearly questioning his decision to ring.
"Well if I knew that I wouldn't fucking be here right now would I?" His patience had finally snapped.
"Calm down. I'm coming up to your dorm right now."

"Don't c-"
The phone-line went dead.
Draco's muscles tightened, his hands balled into two fists.
He couldn't stand to see Harry right now, not after what happened.

He couldn't stay here any longer, he had to find her.
Throwing the nearest t-shirt and jeans he could find on, he grabbed a backpack and threw whatever he found strewn across his room in. None of these things mattered to him anymore, the only thing that mattered was her.
And he lost her.

Pain shot through him like never before, his eyes stung violently.
"You brought this on yourself Draco." he mumbled.

And then he was gone, not knowing where he was going, not really caring either, all he wanted was to find her.

The room fell silent, except for the smooth swishing of the curtains.

"Draco?" a quiet whisper came from behind the door.
"Draco are you there?" This time a little bit louder.

No answer.
Harry opened the creaking wooden door, to find the room completely empty.
He felt sick to his stomach, and all he could do was collapse onto the bed, his head in his hands, wishing he could just turn back time.
