Oh, crap.

How in the world did he end up here? And with her! How did he end up here with her!

When he finds Kukai, he's a dead man.

This wasn't funny! This was serious! This could determine everything for him and her!

He should have realized something like this would happen at the party. Everyone knew fully well about his infatuation – everyone except the only person that the information would've been of some use to. Namely, the petite beauty in front of him, who looked like she was having an extreme inner conflict at the moment.

The girl shuffled her feet against the wooden floor nervously, looking practically everywhere else but at his face. She didn't know what to do, just like him. Oh, what an awkward situation!

Why couldn't he be allergic to mistletoe?

He looked around. They were blocking the doorway to the kitchen, which was where all the food was, which was where Amu – who was standing there waiting for the inevitable to happen – wanted to go. She had a cheery grin on her face, her hands clasped in silent encouragement. Come on, Nagihiko.

Oh God. This was it.

The blonde looked a little tense standing next to him, but she had finally turned his way. Ready?

One.

Two.

Three.

And then they kissed.

A/N:

YEAH, I know I posted something for Christmas already. But I had a lovely Christmas today, so I wanted to write something nice and simple before the day ended.

So here I am, at about 11:47 p.m. on December 25th, posting this drabble I started about twenty minutes ago. I was in such a rush, I didn't even do any fancy shmancy formatting with the title or anything! To be honest, I couldn't really come up with a good title without spending... ohhh say about a half an hour thinking and re-thinking about it until the planets aligned and a perfect title suddenly emerged from the depths of my mind (seriously, I put a LOT of thought into my titles, even though it may not seem like it. Ohwellz). So I cheated, so to speak, and made the first line the title as well, Emily Dickinson style! x]

Hah. Well, I hope you liked it, regardless of its length (or lack thereof).

Wow, I feel like this is my millionth Rimahiko though, even though I've only done... like... five. Hehe. It's probably because I've got so many Rimahiko story fragments that don't quite make a lot of sense just yet swirling around in my head. Maybe I should start writing about other couples. What do you think?

Well, Happy Holidays! :D
