Monsters
In the woods there is a scary place
Where the monsters hide, and goblins giggle
Where the bad children go
In the twilight of the night
Parent's take them one by one
They kick and scream but nothing helps
The mindful children watch, each with a tear
The monsters hide from little eyes
The parents stop, and children listen
All is quiet, save for tiny sobs and whispers
Goblins crunch and slurp
While the monsters hoot and howl
Over bad little children's bones
So listen all who dare
These children didn't make it out alive
But you could, if only you knew how
