Lindsay grabs her keys, her IPOD, & headphones, looking around her apartment with a sigh. No matter where she went, all she heard was the low, almost mocking laugh that was purely Danny's. She walks out of her apartment, door slamming, as if that would dispel the memories. She hooks herself to the IPOD, turning it on loud, to keep away any "friendly" joggers, and start to walk, waiting to jog until she arrived at Central Park.

Pausing once she arrived at Central Park, she looks around, seeing vendors talking to each other, and hawking their foods, street vendors playing their music which was a strange but harmonious mix of rap, Indian, & various instruments playing their own tunes. Women dancing, their arms and legs blurring as they laugh and move in a sinuous way, and made-up men miming their way out of boxes, and into people's wallets. Laughing lightly, Lindsay thinks to herself, "Always thinking like a cop."

Moving over to a bench, putting one foot up, and stretching her leg, her shorts riding up, and curving to fit her bottom, switching legs, oblivious to the eyes on her.

Standing, Linds stretched her arms and back and then took off, slowly at first. Listening to Danity Kane, their new song "Damaged", the lyrics fitting her mood the last few months, but now…..Lindsay smiles, her first real smile in a while, now its not quite as bad, & she feels like she is healing.

Tell me are you up for the challenge
Cause my heart is damaged, damaged

Setting off at a leisurely pace, not in any hurry, but just enjoying the late summer/early fall air, and the presence of people around. She falls into the mix of music, speeding up on the more upbeat ones, slowing down a bit for the ballads. She feels an itch of someone watching so she looks around but all she sees is the flow of joggers, business people, and others making their way along the paths. Shrugging, she continues on for a while, pausing to get a bottle of overpriced BUT cold water. Chugging some of it down, she continues to listen to her music.

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrap around her waist, and guiltily, her first thought is "Danny", but a quick look down shows a pair of much darker arms around her waist, and she turns, a sunny smile on her face, only a fraction of that guilt in her eyes as she leans her face up, shutting her eyes and kissing the man with her, maybe a bit too passionately.

"Sheldon! You made it!"
