AN: Hey all today is Remus' Bday so I just wanted to post something for him and well this is the only thing I had. It's really a kinda random shitty little one-shot about how The wolf inflicts so much damage upon Remus and his family. the plot I don't think makes too much sense but you can decide that and let me know what you think by reviewing, sounds good right and Happy Birthday Remus Lupin :), just so we're clear it is the 10th of March in Austria I think i might just through a party ok enough rambling and on with the randomness.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own HP because if i did I wouldn't need to post this on fanfiction.
A Story of Teddy Lupin
He ran down the dark alley way and out of the cold surrendering darkness descending upon him. Succumbing to the warmth of his shelter his home he laid he head upon the pillows near the fire which burst of flame filling him with warmth and a sense of affection. Laying there he couldn't help but delve into the darkness of his past his eyes close, his mother shouting his name Teddy, Teddy no not my baby Teddy. He saw a larger man angry and snarling, pick up the boy he knew to be himself and he heard once again his mothers' shrill attempts to keep the man away from her only pride and joy her son Teddy. He shivered sending his sweat covered body tingling with what happened next and what he knew would happen next as he had had this particular nightmare every night for the past week. The large snarling man carefully laid the vulnerable child back into his cot awaiting a peaceful slumber which Teddy knew he would never experience again and moved to his mother striking her only once in the temple. The man Teddy knew to be his father walked out the door of their once happy home with no feeling of remorse or regret what so ever, the little baby Teddy leaned over the rim of his cot and upon his vision insured something he was sure he would never forget something he would dream about for years his mother lying on the cold wooden floors of their living room swimming in a pool of her of blood her face churned upward her cold dead eyes staring straight into the baby Teddy.
He awoke with a spluttering start, forcing himself to calm down. He stood, grabbed his travelling coat and left the cover of warmth that his home once gave to him. Teddy paced up and down the deck of his house over looking the lake and the thing responsible for his mothers death the full moon. "Why Remus, why did you have to kill her?" He yelled knowing no one was listening "why" he slumped against the cold wet outside wall of this home as the rain started falling from the heavens the moon light hitting the drops making them sparkle like the look in his dead mothers eyes when he use to hug her. "I know it wasn't your fault Remus I know you can't help transforming into that beast that lays dormant inside of you, I know". Out of the shadows of the house that the moon light created stepped a man Teddy hadn't seen in over twenty years "I'm sorry teddy, I'm so sorry" he said slipping down the wall to join his son "I know dad, I know its okay". Teddy held his father Remus in his arms and Remus held teddy back both slumped in the shadow of the moon against the wall soaked and sodden from the rain and from the tears they shed of pain and loss over their mother and wife, forgiveness and the realisation that they both could start their lives over again as father and son. But teddy knew he would always look differently at his father. Remus was truly right, he was just too dangerous. It's a pity death was the only way for her to see the beast behind the man.
AN: Let me know what you all thought kk and once more Happy Birthday Remus.
