This is a one-shot I made based off of Carrie Underwood's Temporary Home. I hope you like and I don't own SWAC

No One's Point of View

A six year old boy sat on the steps of his new foster parents house. His name was Chad Dylan Goldfarb. His shaggy blonde hair hung in his eyes and mixed with his tears. His startling blue eyes had lost their shimmer since foster home number 2.

"Hey Chad." his friend Sonny walked up to him. She was the only person who moved house to house with him. They were best friends and the organization didn't have the heart to separate them.

"Hey Sonny."

"You like it here?" they both let out a bitter laugh.

"We won't be here for long Sonny. This is our temporary home. It's not where we belong. It's just windows and rooms that we're passing though," he started to sing knowing it comforted her, "This is just a stop, on the way to where were going. I'm not afraid because I know, this is our temporary home." he promised himself he would get them out of this somehow. He would make Sonny happy. He would find a home for them. And he wouldn't rest until he did.

8 years later

Sonny paced up and down with the small child in her arms. When she was 14, she got pregnant and was put into a Young Mom's Home. It was a place where women who weren't married took in teen girls who were pregnant. Chad had left when she was 13 to try and find a home for them, but she knew it wouldn't work. It never did. Her sixteenth birthday was tomorrow. It was near one in the morning and Sonny was whispering things to the 1 year old.

"Someday we'll find our place here in this world. This is our temporary home it's not where we belong, windows and rooms that we're passing through this is just a stop won the way to where we're going I'm not afraid because, I know this is our temporary home." the phone rang and she picked it up hoping it was a job offer.

"Hey, is this Sonny Monroe?"

"Yeah."

"This is Marshall Pike. We want you to be on So Random. Permanently." tears of joy slid down the young mother's face.

"I accept. Were will I live? I'm on my own."

"You can live with me sweetheart. Don't worry, I'm gonna take care of you."

"Thanks. Mr. Pike."

"It's Marshall."

"Thanks Marshall."

"No prob kiddo."

Chad's Point of View

I had to get Sonny here and make sure I filled my promise to give her a permanent home. I had become bitter since I left her, so what. I knew that once Sonny was with me, I wouldn't anymore. I walked to the prop house to mock the Randoms, but heard someone humming a painfully familiar tune. The one that I had calmed Sonny with.

"Don't worry baby, we found our home." a brunette girl sat on the couch with a sleeping baby in her arms.

"Hi." I said.

"Chad?"

"Sonny?"

She carefully laid the baby down before engulfing me in a hug.

"Welcome home Sonshine. Welcome home."

Sorry I didn't do the old man. I couldn't think of anybody. I hope you like it. It was supposed to make up for me taking my other story down. J
