Random thought that came in my mind a couple weeks ago watching 'The God Complex'. The moment when Amy asks the Doctor about what he/Time Lord believed in.

Disclaimer: I own nothing of Doctor Who, it Belongs to the BBC

Some Kind of Faith

"It was after you as well Doctor, so what do you believe in, is there a Time Lord god?" Amy asked with a small smirk. Doctor he didn't answer, going on about the ship they were on and the Minotaur that had been chasing them around the virtual 80's hotel.

Later on he allowed himself to think, now alone in the TARDIS since he had dropped the Williams off to live their natural lives out in whatever form they found fit. Leaning back against the console and lacing his fingers together as he stared out at nothing.

Not so long ago, he was asked the same question on an impossible planet orbiting a black hole he was asked what he believed in he didn't answer then. It wasn't until later when he stood in a different form staring angrily up at a beast as he was faced with a choice

'I've seen fake gods and bad gods and demigods and would-be gods; out of all that, out of that whole pantheon, if I believe in one thing... just one thing... I believe in her.'

He had made a choice with his faith, smashed the last connection the impossible planet had and sent the planet into the black hole, time passed quickly and they were separated. He went through loss for almost two years until he found her again and made another choice, relying on faith yet again he left her with the other him, the past him.

What he did believe in now...

It's short, maybe sweet, salty?

I have a LiveJournal account as well, TsukikoYamisaki which will also have some of my original stories/random thoughts.
