A/N: So this was inspired by the most recent Walking Dead episode, and well, I wanted to write insane Law. It short, I know, but it's just one of those spur of the moment things. Enjoy~.

I own nothing but the words.

The voices had accompanied him for longer than he could remember. Ever since he was a child they had been there, toying with him, shaping him into the man he was today.

Too long they had been battling.

Evil.

Monster.

You are no doctor.

Enough was enough. He could feel the very foundation of his person cracking, molding into something new; something darker. Every turn he would take there would be another there. A self portrait of his fears; his burdens; his past. They were all there and attacking him.

You're not worthy of your title, Law.

You're a monster.

He threw his fists around, trying to make them leave with force alone, but they just wouldn't go. They'd never leave.

No one will understand you. No one will every love a monster.

It wasn't until the last of the shadows had circled around him that he truly felt like he was losing it.

You let them die.

They had all gathered around him as he dropped to his knees. One of his hands placed in front of him, shaking with the fear of his realization. Eyes wide, he darted around at the others. They all held within their hands, long, sharp scalpels as they closed in on his person.

"N-No…" It was all he could get out before the knives had stabbed into him. The pain was almost unbearable, and he let out a loud cry in pain.

You should die just as your patients did before you.

Just as your nakama did under your hand.

He huddled his arms around his body, feeling the warmth from the blood pouring through his shirt.

And then something inside of him snapped.

Several minutes of silence in the dark took place, before he rose slowly,"Yes..."His voice was calm; calmer than it had ever been before,
"I am responsible."

He lifted his hand, the red stains of blood apparent on the tips of his fingers, even in the darkness that surrounded him. His eyes, wide and wild met that of himself in the mirror. He lined the lower half of his sadistic smirk with the red liquid.

"I am the monster of the North."
