A/N: So this is just a fun idea I got while playing KH3 when I thought "You know, for a guy that is pretty badass, Sora has like no love interests besides Kairi"
Thus this story was born.
This is just a fun Sora/Harem story where Sora travels back in time to the events of KH1 with both his skills and looks, while this story will mostly just be fun, I will try to have an actual plot. This won't be too serious, but I hope it will bring a smile to your face! Also this story ignores the events of KH3, so if you haven't finished, dont worry about spoilers~
I hope you all enjoy, and leave a review if you wish to see something/what can be improved~
(Also this will be my secondary story, but I'll try my best to update when I can)
"Thereforth, due to Riku not falling into his temptations like you did Sora, I hereby declare Riku a official keyblade master." The words from Yensid's mouth were both surprising and saddening to hear. On one hand, Riku had overcame the darkness in his heart and had passed the Mark of Mastery.
On the other hand, Sora, who had overcome many trials and tribulations, failed due to falling into the darkness and not staying the course of the light.
However, despite not passing the exam, Sora couldn't help but smile as he placed his arm around Riku "Riku! I'm so happy for you!"
Riku, still trying to recover from the shock of being named a keyblade master, just looked at Sora and forced a smile "A-Ah yeah! Thanks Sora."
"Hehe!" Sora seemed to be more pleased with the outcome than Riku was, while Riku was certainly happy to hear he had passed the exam, disappointment for Sora crept into his heart.
"Sora, I'm sorry that you didn't…"
"What? It's fine! It just means I'm going have to train harder so I can pass it next time!" Sora gave a wide grin to Riku, who just smiled and nodded, knowing full well that Sora meant it.
However, Yensid simply closed his eyes as interrupted their conversation "About that, Sora."
"Huh? Yeah?"
"The darkness that consumed you in the exam was a darkness so bold and so brash, that it would be hard for any keyblade warrior to resist it. I am quite shocked that Riku was able to do so, though perhaps his own struggles with darkness aided him in that conquest."
"I see, so that means I'm really going have to train and become stronger, won't I?"
"Hm...We don't have a lot of time, Xehanort will almost certainly begin carrying his plans out immediately, which means you may not have time to spare."
"Oh, right...Well, I guess I'll have to train while on the move huh?"
Yensid swung his head head as he spoke "I'm afraid that our enemy is much stronger than any of your previous foes, and because of this, it's too dangerous for you to begin your adventure in your current state, especially since the darkness made you forget many of your abilities."
"But, if it's too dangerous for me, then how am I going to train to stop him?" Yensid opened his eyes as a book appeared on his desk as it began flipping through the pages.
"As you know, Kairi and Lee were sent to a distant realm by Merlin that allows the user to train to their heart's content, without the flow of time moving. It has been used many of times by heros old and new, from the days of Arthur to the current time of Kairi and Lee, to hone their skills."
"Ah! So you're saying I should go there to get stronger, right?"
"I'm afraid that this place is merely meant for heroes who are just beginners, no strong enemies are present, and your skills are too advanced for the teachings that place has to offer."
"Huh? Then why did you bring it up?"
"Because, there is a more advanced place where the flow of time does not flow, a place where you will grow stronger and more powerful than you are now Sora."
"Oh sweet! What is it? Is it like a battle realm or a place full of countless Nobodies and Heartless to fight?" Yensid again shook his head as the book in front of him stopped on a page.
"This place is time itself."
"TIme...Itself?" Sora looked at Riku and the others who just shrugged their shoulders, not knowing what he meant either.
"Yes, you will travel to a world that time has already passed, a place where you will face a darkness so strong that it will take everything you know, and then some to overcome."
"I see, and this world is…?"
Yensid looked down at the book and when Sora did as well, he seemed a bit taken aback "Do you see it? The world you will be traveling to is Destiny Islands, two years ago."
"Two years ago? You mean…?"
"Yes, you will travel back, back to the the days that preceded the start of your journey, Sora." Sora just looked at the picture in the book as a bevy of emotion was plastered onto it, not knowing what to think.
"So, I get this is how I will get relearn my powers but...I learned most of them throughout my travels, the only thing I learned on the islands was how to wield the keyblade, and even then it wasn't perfection."
"Sora, you don't seem to understand. The world isn't limited to just Destiny Islands, you will be visiting every world in it's past variation, resolving it's riddles, and relearning your skills. You will meet people from the past, none with their memory of you. You will have to solve problems again, and maybe learn about some new ones."
"I get it, by redoing all of the challenges I've faced, I'm sure to relearn everything! So how long will this take?"
"Hold on Sora, it's not as easy as you may think."
"Huh? Why not?"
"You will be going through time essentially, with knowledge that you didn't posse's at the time. This knowledge can be a form of darkness to overcome, as afterall, if you know the solution to a problem that hasn't happened yet, you may overreact and do things out of order, making you skip the moment in time that you learned a particular skill."
"Oh, so I have to do everything in order, and make sure to do it the exact same way?"
"Time can never be perfectly replicated, so the way it's done isn't as important as the order it is done in. This world is designed to let you relearn your skills in a specific order, regardless of if you use said skill in battle. However the order is important, as you must relearn everything Sora."
"I understand, thats easy enough! I got a pretty good memory after all." Donald could be heard making a side comment in the background, but before Sora could refute him, Yensid continued on.
"Even so, a new type of darkness awaits. A old aged darkness called the 'Seven Dark Deeds."
"Seven...Dark Deeds?"
"Yes...Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Revenge, Envy and Pride. You must overcome all of these, as again you will have knowledge and power you originally didn't have, making these that more possible to happen."
"Thats...Alot…"
"Yes, yet this is the only way for you to relearn everything in a timely manner. Now, I must tell you two important details. First, should you succumb to the darkness, or perish in this world, then it's over, you will be trapped in the Realm of Darkness."
"Trapped? Just like Riku?" Riku nodded, remembering his time in the void.
"Yeah, I was trapped for a bit, but I managed to escape, wouldn't Sora be able to as well?" Yensid shook his head.
"No...These Seven Darknesses are so devastating, that Sora would be plunged so far, he could only be saved by defeating him first, something that only Riku is capable of, and even then, the realm will boost the power of Darkness itself."
Sora gulped as he nodded "Alright, what's the other important detail?"
"This training will take you mere seconds in this world, however, time will pass normally in that world, meaning you must stay in there for the full two and half years, including the time you were asleep Sora."
"W-What? Two and a half years?" Yensid nodded as the he motioned towards Donald and Goofy.
"You will be alone until you meet the past selves of Donald and Goofy, however, they will not have any memory of you, just like the others. So you will still have your initial struggles."
"Ah, man do I get any positives?"
Yensid smiled as he nodded "Yes, you will still have the powers you currently know, and they may grow stronger when you pass the point you initially learned them. You will also retain your physical look and clothes, though that may be a disadvantage to a degree."
"Huh? Why?"
"The Darkness known as Lust of course."
"Lust?" Sora looked at Donald and Goofy as he spoke "What does he mean?"
Donald and Goofy nervously looked at each other when Goofy spoke "Uh Sora, you mean you don't ever notice?"
"Huh? Notice what?"
Donald stomped his foot down as he yelled "The girls!"
"Girls? What about them?" The two of them sighed as Goofy walked over towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Uh Sora, you don't ever notice how some of them act?"
"Act? Notice? Seriously what are you guys talking about?"
"Uh well...It's like when Yufi teases ya, or when Mulan said you were an excellent swordsman, and kinda like how Kairi stares at you at times."
"Yeah what about it?" Goofy went to speak again yet Donald came over and spoke for him.
"Sora, it's because they like you!"
"Like…? Wait! You mean like like?" Donald nodded as did Goofy "Wait what!? Since when did that happen?"
Riku walked over as he placed a hand on Sora's other shoulder "You were always a little dense. I'm surprised you never noticed Selphie's crush on you."
"Wait what!?" As the gang started to laugh at Sora, Yensid spoke back up, gaining everyone's attention.
"Sora! This will be the hardest challenge of your life, do you wish to accept it?"
Sora turned back around as sweat ran down his face, he needed to defeat Xehanort, yet not only would it be long and hard, but the challenge itself could potentially mean the end for him. He turned to look at Donald and Goofy as he spoke "Guys...What do you think?"
Goofy and Donald both smiled as Goofy spoke "Why, I think you'd be just fine Sora. Your a lot stronger than you think, and I don't think you would ever fall into any of the darkness they mentioned!"
"Yeah! What Goofy Said!" Sora looked at both Donald and Goofy as he smiled and nodded.
"Thanks guys." Sora turned towards Riku as he spoke again "Riku, do you think I can do this?"
"Heh, you've already done it once haven't you?" Sora smiled as Riku patted him as Sora turned back towards Yensid.
"Alright! I'm ready!" Yensid nodded as a box appeared in front of him.
"This box contains clothes you will be needing to survive the harsh conditions this world has in store, please wear them."
Sora nodded as he took the clothes out and after a minute of chaning, folded his old clothes up as he placed them on the table.
"Now Sora, when you are ready, place your hand on the book." Sora nodded as he looked back down at the book and gulped before he looked back towards everyone.
"Well, see you guys in a few seconds I guess." He laughed as everyone gave a wave and cheers of good luck as Sora placed his hand on the book, and soon a light engulfed him, before everything went dark.
Silence.
There was nothing but silence as the darkness had consumed Sora.
He felt like he was floating, yet he wasn't.
He felt like he could swim yet there was no water.
There was nothing.
But silence.
As the silence continued for what felt like an eternity, Sora began to stir as his eyes fluttered open as everything was blurry. He tried to move yet felt weak, though eventually he was able to move his arm upwards as he wiped his eyes and after that?
He knew where he was.
He was in his old room.
Sora laid still, looking at the roof as he would recognize this place from anywhere. His bed felt the same, his roof still had that fish design he had painted on it when he was a kid, everything was the same.
He was actually back in his old room.
Sora just let a small smile slip by, while happiness filled him, at the same time, he knew this wasn't real. It was just a new journey he would have to overcome, yet he also knew that this wouldn't be just any old journey.
This would be an adventure like no other.
He pushed himself up, his necklace moving along with his body as he looked outside, his town full of life as the sunrise illuminated it, and in the distance he could see the islands.
As he sat there, he heard footsteps before a knock on his door "Sora sweety? Riku and Kairi are here!"
That was his...Mom? How long had it been since he seen her? Again happiness filled him as he wanted to jump up and hug her, yet he was able to restrain himself as he looked out the window and saw Riku and Kairi, their younger selves, at his door. Riku acting like his old cocky self while Kairi was humming a song as she sat on the steps.
Sora let out a small laugh as he heard another knock "Sora? You awake?"
"Huh…? Ah yeah! I'm awake mom!" There was silence for a moment as Sora scooted off his bed, yet soon the door opened as Sora's mom came in, making him feel guilty when he saw her, yet she just had a look of astonishment.
"S-Sora?"
"Huh? Y-Yeah Mom?" She was quiet for another moment before speaking.
"That...Is you, isn't it Sora? I-I heard your voice and...Ah, so this is why you had that cold!"
"C-Cold?"
"Mmhmm! You came in with a deep voice and said it was because of a cold! But now I know the real reason! You went through puberty and was scared to let me hear it! Oh it's ok Sora, everyone goes through it eventually!"
Sora had no idea what she was talking about, yet immediately realized what she meant.
His voice
Back in the day, it was higher pitched, yet during his long sleep, it had deepened.
So thats another thing to explain huh?
"A-Ah yeah! Sorry mom I was just scared to tell you, ehehe...Heh…"
"Oh it's alright Sora, it happens! Also I really like your new clothes, glad to see you finally decided to shop for yourself instead of letting me do the shopping!" Sora looked down at his clothes and nodded, he was wearing the clothes Yensid had given him, the black and red clothes. "Although never pictured you as a jewelry type! Just don't forget it take them off before bed!"
Sora knew she meant his necklace and the ability rings he had on his hand, each one giving extra defense and resistance to a type of magic as he nodded. "Right, sorry about that!"
"Hehe, well better not keep Riku and Kairi waiting! Oh especially Kairi, I bet she's going to love your new look!" Sora blushed a little as he gave a nervous laugh as he walked by her, making her comment again.
"Oh you've grown as well! My, you're growing up right before my eyes Sora!"
"Ah yeah, growing up...Right…" Guilt took him over as he shook his head and headed downstairs.
He walked towards the door nervously, not knowing what to say to Kairi and Riku as they were nowhere near the same as they were in the present. He gulped as he turned the door handle and exited.
Riku who was leaning against the wall just opened one eye before immediately going wide eyed as he stepped off the wall and looked at him "S-Sora?"
"Huh? Sora's already here? Thats a rec-" Kairi stopped herself as she got up and turned around, jaw dropping when she saw Sora."cord…S-Sora?"
The two of them just looked at him in shock as he gave a small laugh as he scratched the back of his head. "A-Ah hey guys, ehehe…"
The two were even more taken aback when they heard his voice, no longer was the young child voice present, instead replaced by a more grown up voice. "D-Do y-you still have that cold Sora?"
Riku spoke as Sora swung his head "Ah no, my voice just got deeper, must have been because of the cold ehehe…"
"Must have…" Now Riku could believe that, he just couldn't believe everything else. "What about the clothes?"
"A-Ah, I bought them. Figured I could use a wardrobe change."
"I see, well they look good." Riku was impressed enough to give a compliment, him and Sora were best friends sure, but he always enjoyed teasing Sora over his wardrobe, looked like that had to be changed now. "But, how did you...Get taller?"
"Uh…" Ok this would not be easy to explain "Growth spurt?"
"I-I g-guess thats the only answer…" Sora just gave an awkward nod as he stepped off his porch, really showing how much taller he was, as he stared at Riku by eye level now. "Um, Tidus and the others are already at the island if you want to go over and hang out."
"Ah yeah! It's been ages!"
"It's only been a week?" Sora realized his mistake as he waved his hands.
"A-Ah I mean it's been ages since uh...We had a practice battle Riku!"
"Again, it's only been a week?" Sora wanted to facepalm as he just gave an awkward laugh, as he looked down at Kairi, who had just been staring at him the entire time.
"Ah Kairi, how have you been?" Wanting to get out of his current conversation, Sora turned to Kairi who snapped out of her staring as a pinkish blush entered her face.
"A-Ah I've been fine, thanks!" She gave a smile as she placed her hands behind her back as Sora gave a sigh of relief.
"Well guys, guess we should head on to the islands!" The both of them nodded as Sora began walking, until Riku called out.
"Not taking the skateboard today Sora?"
"Huh? Oh yeah…" Sora forgot he had a skateboard he rode to the boats everyday, thankfully he still knew how to ride thanks to the ones scattered throughout Twilight town. Sora walked over to the side of his house as three skateboards were leaning against it with gear.
Riku and Kairi grabbed theirs and began putting their gear on yet Sora just picked his up and looked it over "What, to small now?"
Riku questioned him as Sora nodded "Yeah, guess I'll go without it."
"Won't your mom be mad?" Sora shook his head at Kairi as he gave a small laugh.
"Haha, it's fine, I'm alright without it."
"Says the worst skateboarder among us." Riku gave a sly remark which Sora just laughed at, being used to them by this point.
"Well, I'll guess we'll see!" Riku was a bit suprise Sora didn't bite back, yet he just gave a small smile as he walked on.
Eventually all three were ready, as they stood at the pathway to the main road. "Ready?"
Sora and Kairi nodded as they all threw their boards down and got on as they began to ride, Sora and Riku staying side by side in unison as Kairi wobbled a bit yet still was able to keep up.
Sora felt like a kid again as he recognized all the buildings and roads he used to pass by everyday, making him a little sentimental as a tear rolled down his eye, yet he just wiped it off. "Don't tell me the winds making you cry Sora!"
Sora looked over at Riku as he gave a small laugh "Ah no, just got something in my eye!"
"Haha! Well, after the beating you took last week in our duel, I hope a little wind isn't too much for you!" Sora gave another awkward laugh, not remembering exactly how many times Riku got the best of him, Tidus and Wakka in their battles.
The three of them continued on their path until they reached a hill that lead to the main rode, as Sora and Riku stopped so Kairi could join up with them. Once they were all together, Riku looked down as he sighed.
"Alright, we'll walk before continuing, don't want a repeat of last time Kairi."
"Hey, I'll be fine! I just went a little too fast, thats all! Besides, it's clear today!"
"Still, it's too dangerous. Right Sora?" Riku looked at Sora, yet Sora was too busy looking over everything in awe as Riku slapped him. "Earth to Sora!"
Yet Sora wasn't paying attention, and thanks to the slap, he was sent immediately down the hill "W-Whoah!"
"Ah Sora!" Riku reached over to grab him yet missed as Kairi jumped forward as well to grab him."
"Sora!" Kairi yelled out as her and Riku both knew that Sora was an alright boarder, but not the best. That accident involving Kairi didn't involve Sora, as he had crashed out a week ago on the same hill and sat it out.
So they both thought he was about to be seriously hurt.
So when they say him not only perfectly skating, but even cheering in excitement, they were both amazed and confused."Wahoo! I forgot how much fun skating is! Yeah!"
Sora yelled out as Riku and Kairi both looked on before Kairi giggled as she put her board down and went on "Wait up Sora!"
"Kairi wait!" Yet she ignored Riku as she began going down, wobbling a bit as she gradually picked up speed down the hill.
"Yeah! Woohoo!" Sora continued to yell out as he rode down the hill at insane speed as he curved all over and screamed out. He looked behind him and saw Kairi as he yelled out "Kairi! This is so much fun!"
"Hehe Yeah!" Kairi yelled back as she giggled as she continued down the hill, never having gone this fast before "Ehehehe, Hey So- W-Whoah!"
Suddenly Kair lost her balance as she ran over a stick and her board began to move back and forth until it started to tip as Sora saw it "Ah! Kairi!"
Sora watched as Kairi started to fly off her board, as he saw Riku at the top looking on in concern as he began to race down to tend to her.
Yet Sora wasn't going to let her get hurt.
Sora turned around and placed one foot on the hill.
Most of the time, at that speed, it would almost certainly cause a person to burn out and crash.
Instead, it allowed Sora to jump towards her as a thought ran through his mind. "Flowmotion?"
As Yensid had said, Sora had all of his abilities he remembered and that included flowmotion, which allowed him to jump farther distances.
Sora jumped all the way towards her as she screamed as she fell, Kairi closing her eyes as she expected to hit the hard ground.
Instead, she hit something hard but also comfortable as she opened her eyes and was shocked as her eyes met "S-Sora?"
"Hehe, glad to see you didn't pass out!"
"W-What?" Kairi looked around and was surprised to see two things.
They were still moving at a high speed.
They weren't on skateboards.
She was confused for a moment until she looked down and gasped. Sora was grinding on the guard rail beside the road, not even struggling a bit as he slid down it. "Sora how are you-"
"Hehe, I might have a trick or two up my sleeve!" He looked down and gave a wide smile, making her blush as she tightened her grip on him until they were close to the bottom as he jumped off making he hold tighter until they hit the ground. "Alright, and touchdown!"
Kairi just kept staring at him with starry eyes, never seeing something like that in her life. "S-Sora…"
"Ah Kairi, you can let go now." Kairi snapped out of her look as her blush deepend as Sora let her onto the ground as Riku sooned joined them as he reached the bottom.
Immediately he ran over to Sora as he grabbed him by the shoulders.
"Riku?"
"Who are you and what have you done with Sora?"
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"Sora, how did you do that? Just last week you could barely rid a board and now you're suddenly a pro at it?" Riku shook Sora who just gave an awkward laugh in return.
"Well you see…" Sora looked around until he saw the dock as he yelled out "A-Ah! We're almost there, lets go!" Sora got out of Riku's grasp as he started running towards the dock, leaving Riku and Kairi behind.
"Sora wait! Agh…" Riku didn't know what to say as Sora ran. That was Sora, he may be overall different, but he just somehow knew that was Sora. Yet what had happened to him he had no idea.
Kairi on the other hand just stared at him as he ran before she spoke "R-Riku, what happened?"
"I don't know to be honest, you guys were skating down when suddenly you fell, and then Sora jumped an insane distance to catch you, and after doing so, instead of taking the fall, he used his free hand to push off the pavement and onto the rail, which he rode down."
"I see, so in a way." Kairi put her hand on her heart as she smiled "He's my hero, huh?"
Sora ran and ran until he reached the dock as fishing boats headed out for the day and trading ships came in. Sora gave a smile as he looked it all over, nostalgia filling him as he looked.
As he stood there looking over everything, he heard footsteps behind him as Riku and Kairi ran up "Wait up Sora! You're a lot faster than I remember."
Sora gave a laugh to Riku as he patted him on the back "Guess that means no race today?"
"A-Ah no! Still gotta do the race!" Sora laughed as they walked onto the pier and towards the boat they always used, as the ship captain gave them a wave.
"Ah! Sora, Riku and Kairi! The others have already gone on, guess you'll be joining them?"
"Yeah thats right! It's been forever!" The ship captain raised an eyebrow as he looked Sora over.
"Oh Sora, you look and sound different, that cold still bothering you?"
"A-Ah no its...Well nevermind, you ready to go guys?" Kairi and Riku both nodded as they boarded the boat, and soon enough it began the short sail over there, as the three of them sat and enjoyed the seabreeze "Ah man I've missed this! Last time I came to the island, I had to swim there during the storm!"
"You swam there in a storm?" Riku used a questioning tone as Kairi seemed to be amazed by it yet Sora rubbed his head.
"A-Ah I mean…" Again trying to get out of the conversation, Sora looked at Kairi causing her to gulp some "Ah Kairi! Have any of your memories returned yet?"
"H-Huh? Oh no, I'm afraid I still can't remember anything about my old home.." Sora nodded, knowing that Kairi had just shown up one day without any memories of her home, which made her a bit of a mystery to some.
"Ah I see, well I'm sure someday you'll get them back, no problem!"
"A-Ah yeah, ehehe~" Kairi gave a giggle as Riku looked at her and gave a small laugh.
"If you suddenly like him that much Kairi, why not go sit with him?" Riku scooted towards her and whispered, making her face grow red as she looked at him and swung her head.
"A-Ah no it's not like that!" RIku laughed as he shrugged, knowing Sora was too dense to get it anyway.
If only he knew what his future self had told Sora.
Sora yawned as he stretched back and placed his hands behind his bed, the seabreeze making him relax and comfortable as they got closer and closer to the island. However Riku had an idea pop into his head as he looked at the captain "Hey captain! Stop about one hundred yards out!"
"Eih! You and Sora racing again?"
"If he feels like it, how about it Sora?"
"Huh?"
"Me and you, swim to the island? First one to reach it…" Riku looked at Kairi as he smiled "Gets to eat a Paopu fruit with Kairi!"
"W-Wait what?" Kairi turned red and stood up as Riku smirked.
"What don't think Sora can win?"
"W-What i-it's not that, it's."
"Then it's settled, how about it Sora?" Sora just looked at Riku before he looked at Kairi and saw how she was acting, making it known she disapproved of the idea.
Sora just smiled as he hit his chest "Don't worry Kairi, I'll be sure to win!"
Now Sora meant this as a way to reassure her that she wouldn't have to eat one with either of them.
Kairi took it...In a different way.
Her face heated up as she just stared at him starry eyed again, thoughts running through her mind like "Sora wants to eat a paopu fruit with me? B-But does that mean?"
Riku just smirked as as he got to the front "Big talk! But I've always been a better swimmer Sora! But as a handicap against myself, I'll wear the life vest to slow me down!"
"Hm...Nah thats alright, but is it alright if I use that stick?" Sora pointed towards a stick on the floor of the boat as Riku looked at it with a curious look before he shrugged.
"Uh sure I guess?" Riku didn't really know how much a stick would do as Sora grabbed it as he got beside Riku. "Anyway on three! One!"
The boat began to come to a stop as Sora smirked as he said the next number "Two!"
Kairi placed her hands over her heart as the boat came to a stop "Three!"
They both jumped in as Riku began to swim like crazy, not wanting to lose to Sora.
Yet the result was never in doubt.
Both the captain, Kairi and Riku were shocked as Sora was not only swimming underwater, but at an insane speed as he was using the stick to propel himself to the front, swimming quite casually.
They just watched as Sora easily reached the shore well before Riku as he hopped out onto the island as Riku just stopped swimming and stared, Kairi even more star struck at her 'hero's moves.
The captain just came onto the deck as he looked at Riku "Guess you just want a ride the rest of the way eh?"
Riku looked back and sighed as he slowly nodded. "Y-Yeah…"
He got back onto the boat, confused as ever by the new Sora that had propped up.
Sora threw the stick down as he ran onto the sand laughing, having been on the island itself since he was thrown off, yet this was the first time that it felt new and exciting. The air had a special feeling to it and the sun felt extra special on the islands.
Sora looked all around mouth agape, the image looking like a painting as his eyes ran over everything.
However he felt something behind him, and he immediately turned and held a hand up as he caught a jar in his hand. "Huh?"
"Oh! You finally caught one, yeah?" Sora looked over as he saw Waaka looking at him with a smile, making Sora laugh.
"Waaka!" Sora ran over to Waaka who was looking him over.
"Man, we don't see each for a week and in that time you change your clothes, hair style, voice and get taller? I'd like whatever your having for dinner!" Sora laughed as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment as he heard more footsteps running towards him.
"Yo Sora! Love the new digs!" Sora looked at the pier and saw Tidus as he waved.
"Tidus! Been a while!"
"Huh? I'm almost inclined to agree, you're alot different now."
"A-Ah yeah, my cold kinda changed my voice so I thought I would change my clothes to match!"
"Apparently the cold made you taller as well, you're the same height as Waaka!" Sora looked at Waaka and just noticed he was staring at eye level.
"Oh yeah, I just now noticed." The three gave a laugh as the boat arrived and Riku and Kairi both got off as they ran towards him.
"Sora!" Kairi yelled out as Sora looked at them and smiled.
"Ah, glad to see you guys made it!" Kairi gave a laugh while Riku just looked at him.
"Sora, what was that?" Riku spoke with both confusion and anger.
"Huh? What?"
"What you did in the water! I've never seen you go that fast, especially underwater!" Sora tried to calm him down as he spoke.
"Whoah whoah! I just learned a few tricks, thats all!"
"You keep saying that, but how? Where? Why?"
"It's...Hard to explain." As Sora and Riku argued, Waaka broke the argument as he spoke up.
"Hey! Why don't you two settle this how you always do?" Sora and Riku looked at him as Riku nodded.
"Good idea! How about it Sora? This time, the winner gets to walk Kairi home!" Kairi again went red and shook her head though Sora just smirked.
"Heh, I won't lose for sure this time!" Kairi got the reddest she could as she stared at Sora, who gave her a sideways look and winked.
He did so to let her know that he wouldn't let Riku win and embarrass her.
She took it in a much different way as she had to hold her hands over her mouth to not squeal, her celebrity crush on Sora being fully confirmed.
"Alright then, the swords are up with Selphie, so I'll go grab them." Tidus began to walk yet Sora just held his hand up.
"Ah it's fine, I'll grab them. It is kinda my fault after all." Sora gave a small laugh as he patted Tidus and began walking towards the ladder.
"Ah alright." The group watched Sora walk towards the ladder as Tidus turned towards Riku "So...Was this a natural transformation or…?"
"Nope, we showed up at his house this morning and he was like this."
"Huh, weird. But kinda cool if you ask me, I always thought Sora would be pretty awesome if he ditched those old clothes of his and got some moves with them."
"Yeah well, apparently so did she." Riku looked at Kairi, who had returned to her starry eyed gaze as she watched Sora like he was a celebrity.
Sora casually walked towards the ladder before he began climbing up it, he had thought about just using flow motion, but he thought better of it as it might be a good idea to tone down on showing everyone his skills, he couldn't let time deviate from its course.
He got up to the top as he walked down the wooden stairs as he reached the inn as he heard humming from inside.
He turned the corner and saw Selphie fixing a note that had somehow formed in her jump rope, along with the wooden swords beside her. He gave a smile as he saw another one of his friends as he called out "Hey Selphie!"
"Hm? Who is...S-Sora!?" Selphie didn't recognize the voice, yet immediately gasped when she saw Sora standing in the doorframe.
Atleast the face looked like Sora! The body, clothes, hair style and voice were all not the Sora she knew, and it through her through a loop as she just stared "Hey! Jump Rope messed up again?"
She didn't know what to say as Sora placed his hands in his pockets and walked towards her, each step making her heart beat faster "A-Ah yeah, y-you could say that…"
Sora kept walking towards her as her face heated up as he looked down at her rope "Hm, a knot?"
"A-Ah yeah, I was jumping and...Eh…" Sora raised an eyebrow as he took the rope in his hands as he suddenly thought of something, surely it wouldn't work, would it?
"Hey mind if I try fixing it?"
"Y-Yeah if you want." She gave him the full rope as Sora looked it over and figured that if anything, it could test his magic.
"Oh hey, can you hand me that over there?"
"Huh What?" As soon as she looked away, Sora whispered…
"Curaga…" Immediately Sora felt a power run through him and suddenly the rope glowed green before it fixed itself.
These gave him two thoughts.
First was that he could use magic still, which was good, though he would be out for a few minutes since he used Curage.
The second was it seemed that he could now target objects with his magic, to be fair he never tried before, but it was important to know for now.
"What do you want me to...Wait what!?" As soon as she looked back, her rope was fixed as Sora gave a smile and handed it to her.
"Here! Brand new!
"W-What! How? I've been working on that for an hour!" Sora just shrugged as he stood back up and handed it to her.
"Hehe, I'm just pretty cool like that." Sora gave a large smile, making her blush. "Well I'm about to head down and spar with Riku. Wanna join?"
"A-Ah! Yeah I'll head on…" Sora nodded as Selphie ran out as Sora grabbed the wooden swords and smiled.
"Alright bring it on Riku, like old times!"
Selphie on the other hand wasn't even thinking about the spar as she ran, only one thing ran through her mind.
She could now finally end the Sora vs Riku debate with Kairi, she knew for a fact now!
