Playing Dead

Start: Playing Dead

Cole had to ask himself where is the best place to hide when Phoebe pretended to vanquish him. And there was only one solid conclusion that came to him. Maybe its a stupid idea, maybe its a crazy idea, or maybe a combination of both. But hiding in plain sight nobody ever expects it, everybody never expects somebody to be that ballsy. Even though its one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Hellmouth; Sunnydale; California:

Cole shimmers into Spike's lair upon seeing Spike Cole grins wide. The wide grin is not returned "Awww, bloody hell" says Spike having just gotten done talking with Buffy.

Cole doesn't waste any time grabbing Spike by the neck slamming him into a wall with one hand, & forming a fireball with the other hand. Spike transform into his vampire form in self-defense, Cole proclaims "Its been awhile, Spike"

"Not bloody long enough, Belthazor" states Spike

"Is that anyway to greet an old war buddy ?" asks Cole rhetorically, then asking "What, wasn't it World War II ?" asking like he doesn't already know how long its been, & wanting to see if Spike is willing to play along.

"Nawww, mate make that World War I, buddy" corrects Spike deciding to play along since Belthazor hasn't done anything outright aggressive or offensive for demonic standards & also noting he hasn't changed into his black & red beast yet trying to avoid that adding "And if memory serves me right we didn't exactly part as mates, mate"

"The past is the past all sins forgiven and forgotten" states Cole, releasing Spike's neck, & extinguishing the fireball. Straightening up Spike's trademark clothes, proclaiming "I go by my human name now Cole Turner"

Spike laugh having heard in the demonic circles that the great & mighty Belthazor fell in love with a witch, but didn't believe it until now, saying so "So, its true the great, and mighty Belthazor has fallen in love with a witch"

"Yeah, well its no different from what I've heard about you, come on Spike how is that any different then a vampire falling in love with the vampire slayer" smirks Cole, adding "We can help each other out, havn't you heard yet I'm suppose to be dead ?"
