A/N- This is my first fanfic so constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Bella was driving her truck down to work at the Newton's shop on one of those days when Edward was hunting, when she noticed an old vacant building with a sign on it, "Future site of Auntie Susan's Pet Shop."

Hmm… I just might have to visit that. That would be fun. I love animals! Maybe Edward will go with me.

Bella Pov

Several weeks later-

Edward and I were in my room with nothing to do. We were trying to think up ideas.

"We could go bowling." Edward suggested.

"Nah, we did that last week." and I lost horribly.

"What about the movies?"

"No… we did that on Saturday."

What could we do? Oh! I know!

"Hey Edward, a while ago I saw that a new pet shop was being built and by now it should be done. We should go over there!"

" Bella, you realize that that's the same as going to a grocery store for me don't you?"

" Aww… come on!"

"Fine, if we must. I guess there's really nothing else to do here."

"Yay!!" I exclaimed jumping into his arms.

Edward Pov

When we finally got there Bella was jumping out of her seat with excitement.

Wow, she must like animals more than I thought. I wonder how she can take my hunting them so calmly then.

My Bella leaped out of car as soon as we got there.

"Come on Edward! What's taking you so long?"

As she was already at the door, she probably didn't think I should be taking this long. I shouldn't really. I'm just taking my time however. I really hate pet shops, the animals always look so tortured being in those tiny little cages, and hopefully it isn't that kind of a pet shop. Oh well, if it'll make Bella happy I'll go. Look, she's already inside!

As I entered I saw Bella hunched over some poor animal in a cage, I couldn't see what kind of animal it was though, as Bella was in front of it.

" Look, isn't he cute? I want to get him! He's on sale too, I wonder why? He's so adorable!" She said as she moved over so I could see what was probably the evilest bird I had ever seen. This is going to be a long day, I could already tell.
